A method for retracting gingival tissue is also disclosed.

    Abstract: A device and system for releasably securing a watchband to a watch casing. Specifically, a watchband connector pin is formed of a shape memory material, preferably a shape memory alloy. The watchband may be readily released and reattached from a watch casing to facilitate repairs of the watch, for aesthetic considerations, or when the watch band is damaged or worn. The connector pin is durable due to the one piece design, easy to operate, flexible, and economical to produce.

    Abstract: A disposable orthodontic bracket pad. The bracket pad comprises a top and a bottom sheet, wherein the top sheet is made of an inexpensive liquid-impermeable material and has a plurality of openings defining bracket staging areas, and a bottom sheet made of an inexpensive material having one side coated with an adhesive material. The bracket staging areas are preferably arranged in the shape of an arch to mimic the arrangement of teeth and facilitate bracket identification. The bottom sheet is adhered to the top sheet via said adhesive materials, forming a bracket pad having adhesive bracket staging areas. The bracket pad is preferably less than 1/8 of an inch in thickness.

A method for marking an orthodontic wire is also disclosed.
