  • Publication number: 20140158022
Abstract: The present invention is related to the industry of coatings and more specifically to the industry that manufactures bases for paints and even more specifically, to the industry that manufactures inorganic material bases. Our invention has, with respect to the current state of the art, the following advantages: coating characteristics, improved coloring and whiteness capacity which allow for adequate handling of the same even with a large concentration of solids, made of less costly materials. Said composition is characterized by consisting in its composition of kaolin with the following distribution of particle size: between 88 and 98% of the particles should be smaller than 2 microns and only between 10 and 30% should be smaller than 0.2 microns; and of calcium carbonate with a distribution of particle size of between 88 and 96% of the particles smaller than 2 microns and between 4 and 14% smaller than 0.2 microns.

  • Publication number: 20140156816
Abstract: A method for composing configuration changes to be applied to a network element (41) in a distributed way. The method comprises the steps of: at a first server (42), generating a configuration file and signaling the content of said configuration file to the network element (41); according to said content of said configuration file, contacting by said network element (41) a plurality of supporting servers (43 44 45) and downloading from each of said supporting servers (43 44 45) partial pieces of the configuration changes to be applied to the network element (41); combining said partial pieces of configuration changes at said network element (41), thus obtaining a set of resulting configuration changes; applying at said network element (41) said set of resulting configuration changes.

  • Publication number: 20140136714
Abstract: The method comprises using a routing protocol to perform the information exchange between network devices. Said information exchange comprises signalling those network resources which are free or unused and, a single network device, configuring said network resources that are other than network routes. In a preferred embodiment, said routing protocol is the Border Gateway Protocol and the method of the invention further provides a new type of Network Reachability Information in order to perform said configuration and signalling of the network resources by means of said routing protocol.

  • Patent number: 8656345
Abstract: System and method for managing and specifying hardware implementation of a graphical program. A graphical program that implements an algorithm is stored in a memory of a computer system. The graphical program meets one or more first specified implementation requirements and is targeted for deployment to a programmable hardware element. A plurality of sets of descriptive directives are also stored in the memory, where the descriptive directives are associated with the graphical program and specify one or more additional specified implementation requirements, e.g., memory resource implementations, optimization directives, and so forth, where the additional directives result from programmatic and/or user-specification. Each set of descriptive directives is useable by a synthesis tool to generate a respective hardware configuration program for deployment to the graphical programmable hardware element.

  • Publication number: 20120268249
Abstract: In a device, one or more low energy sensors are used to determine a mobility state of the device. Based on both the mobility state of the device and one or more places of interest for the device, a determination is made as to when to use a high energy sensor to determine a location of the device. One of the one or more places of interest for the device within which the device is located at any particular time can be determined based on the mobility state of the device and/or the location of the device as determined by the high energy sensor.

  • Publication number: 20100087169
Abstract: In a mobile communications device, a conversation identifier is generated for each of a plurality of messages. Each conversation identifier is generated based on addresses of message participants identified in the message. A request to display a particular message of the multiple messages is received. In response to the request, one or more other messages of the plurality of messages having a same conversation identifier as the particular message are identified based on the generated conversation identifiers. At least two of the one or more other messages are displayed concurrently.

  • Patent number: 7691572
Abstract: Assays and kits for the detection of phenotypic resistance of a retrovirus to reverse transcriptase inhibitor-drugs in a biological sample. The assays are based on the direct analysis of the susceptibility of retroviral reverse transcriptase to inhibition by a reverse transcriptase inhibitor drug. The enzymatic activity of the reverse transcriptase is determined by measuring the DNA product produced when an RNA template and a first complementary DNA primer from a suitable region of the encephalomyocarditis virus genome are incubated with a biological sample containing reverse transcriptase in the presence of the drug to which resistance is being determined. The DNA product is amplified and detection of the amplified DNA indicates resistance to the drug employed in the assay. Detection of relatively greater amounts of amplified DNA when certain drugs are used indicates the presence of multiple nucleoside analog resistant strains or mutations.
