Abstract: A missile includes an outer casing and an outer coating applied thereto in the form of an ablation layer which contains a matrix material intended to at least partially decompose during a flight. Hollow glass bodies are embedded in the matrix material in order to keep the missile reliably operational even after flying at a speed above 1000 m/s. A matrix material and a method for producing a missile are also provided.

Abstract: A solid-propellant motor includes an outer casing and a combustion chamber which is disposed within the outer casing. In order to simplify the attachment of fittings, the combustion chamber is in the form of a separate component, which is separate from the outer casing.

Abstract: A jettisonable nosecone (10) for a missile is specified, which nosecone (10) is longitudinally split into at least two parts (15, 16) and is held together by detachable connecting structures, in which case the connecting structures are designed to actively move the at least two parts (15, 16) away from one another when released. A missile having a correspondingly designed nosecone (10) is also provided. A nosecone (10) of this type allows simple jettisoning during every flight phase of the missile, and is also suitable for retrofitting to an already existing missile.
