  • Publication number: 20100068948
Abstract: A service switching device comprises a housing having a front face, a mounting face, and a narrow face disposed between the front face and the mounting face. A connecting terminal disposed in a terminal accommodation area close to the narrow face has a terminal screw, accessible from the front face and moveable in a movement direction, including an operating end and a clamping end disposed opposite the operating end; a terminal body including at least one terminal area, in which a connecting conductor can be pressed against a busbar by the terminal screw, wherein the terminal body is accessible via a first housing opening in a wall of the narrow face; and a terminal cover part.

  • Patent number: 4547012
Abstract: A tire loader has a support defining an upright axis and at least three like abutments angularly equispaced about and radially equispaced from the axis on the support. A plate pivotal about the axis on the support within the abutments carries at least three respective inner pivots angularly equispaced about and radially equispaced from the axis on the plate. At least three respective arms each have radially inner ends pivoted on the respective pivots and outer ends. Each arm bears angularly on the respective abutment. At least three respective bead-engaging shoes are pivoted on the outer ends of the respective arms. An actuator operatively connected between the support and the plate can rotate the plate about the axis on the support and thereby pivot the arms about the inner pivots and move the shoes radially. The abutments are rollers having respective roller axes parallel to the support axes.

  • Patent number: 4309161
Abstract: An apparatus for the injection molding of tire treads on reinforcing belts (tire-tread rings) comprises a belt support which is substantially incompressible but is yieldably mounted on a back-up structure and defines a mold cavity with a pair of half shells which close around the support. When the injection-molded tread is released by opening of the half shells, the support can be relaxed and the tread structure picked up by a transfer ring.

  • Patent number: 4084998
Abstract: A device for gripping, pressing and depositing a tire core upon a raw tire blank, has a supporting cylinder which is shiftable axially and which consists of two rings located side by side and having parallel annular troughs upon their inner side. The annular troughs are airtightly covered by separate rings consisting of polyesterurethane or similar tough elastic plastic material with a high E-modulus. These rings have crack zones located mirror-like symmetrically in several radial planes; they are rigid against change in shape and cross-sectionally they are adjustable as toggle joints relatively to each other. The ring zones located closest to the ring center are swingable inwardly tongs-like in radial planes by increased air pressure.

  • Patent number: 4079980
Abstract: A device for transporting annular raw belt-supported running strips for pneumatic tires consists of a gripping device fixed to a supporting ring. The device can be shifted sidewise and adjusted radially. According to the invention the gripping device consists of a ring which has a U-shaped axial cross-section, which is closed up to radial center, which consists of a viscous elastic plastic substance and which can change its shape radially inwardly by air pressure.

  • Patent number: 4028169
Abstract: A winding drum for producing belt inserts for pneumatic tires has a casing the diameter of which is variable. A characteristic feature of the drum is that its cylindrical casing at its radially inwardly located edges is changed--looking in cross-section--into V-shaped disks which are inwardly bent. These disks and the casing consist of polyurethane with an E-modulum of about 800. The edges of the disks are fixed air tightly in a drum. Supports adjustable radially in an axial direction lie against the V-shaped bent sections of the disks.

  • Patent number: 4011127
Abstract: A tire building drum for assembling and shaping green tire carcasses toroidal includes a central drum and side drums with membranes capable of being blown up to shape the tire carcass. Supporting rings are located on opposite sides of the central drum. The invention is characterized in that the core supporting ring consists of an elastomeric material with a high E-modulus and is provided on the inner side with a disk-shaped flange supported in a groove, the flange having concentric collapsible grooves and being capable of extending radially under air pressure.

  • Patent number: 4011126
Abstract: A drum for producing blanks for car tires of rubber with straps wherein the drum consists of coaxial rings movable axially relatively to each other and having supporting surfaces for the beads of tire blanks. According to the invention each ring has an annular groove containing a ring insert of an elastomeric material with a high E-modul. The insert is radially stretchable and consists of a cylindrical supporting part and a disk part firmly connected therewith. The disk part in cross-section has a toggle-like bend and is supported upon the base of the groove. The supporting part is fixed to a limiting flange.
