Patent number: 9776836Abstract: An arrangement of two rail segments, consisting of at least one mounting element disposed at each rail segment, and of at least one connector in contact with the mounting elements, by means of which the rail segments can be connected to each other at the end faces thereof, wherein each mounting element is attached to the corresponding rail segment by means of a welding seam. At least one end of the welding seam ends in a region on the rail segment outside of the mounting element.Type: GrantFiled: September 5, 2011Date of Patent: October 3, 2017Assignee: Terex MHPS GmbHInventors: Gerd Spies, Christoph Passmann

Patent number: 9091026Abstract: An arrangement of a suspension and of a rail is provided, in particular for suspending a travel and/or carrier rail or a lifting gear on a chassis or frame, having a tension element supporting the rail at one end thereof in the region of a profile head by a mounting element, with the head being substantially C-shaped in cross section, and forming a gap running at the top along a longitudinal center plane of the rail. The mounting element comprises a pivotable part that can be pivoted with respect to the tension element, the profile head and the pivotable part being designed such that the pivotable part can be guided through the gap from outside into the profile head in a loading position, and can be pivoted into a mounting position in which the pivotable part contacts the profile head from the inside, bridging the gap.Type: GrantFiled: September 5, 2011Date of Patent: July 28, 2015Assignee: Terex MHPS GmbHInventors: Gerd Spies, Stefan Fitzler, Sven Müller

Patent number: 9067765Abstract: A rail for suspended conveyors and suspended cranes, having a substantially C-shaped profile head for suspending the rail and a profile body connected thereto. The profile head is open at the top, thereby forming a gap running along a longitudinal center plane bounded on both sides by first web segments extending outward from the center plane. Two second web segments opposite each other and running downward and outward as seen in cross section are connected to the first web segments and the rail is made of two profiles disposed symmetrically about the vertical longitudinal center plane as seen in cross section. The rail supports an overload protection in the region of the profile head, and allows simple attachment by suspension supports. In a particular embodiment the first web segments run diagonally outward and upward and the first web segments are angled relative to the longitudinal center plane.Type: GrantFiled: September 5, 2011Date of Patent: June 30, 2015Assignee: Terex MHPS GmbHInventors: Gerd Spies, Stefan Fitzler

Patent number: 8919258Abstract: An arrangement of a rail for suspended conveyors or suspended cranes and a slip contact holder mounted thereon, wherein the rail comprises a profile body and a profile head connected thereto and disposed above the profile body, wherein the profile body is C-shaped in cross section, forms a hollow space for chassis, and has a slit open to the bottom, and the profile head comprises upper, substantially horizontal profile walls and the slip contact holder is disposed within the hollow space and attached to the upper profile walls. A plurality of punchouts are disposed in the upper profile walls, disposed in at least one row and at regular, repeated distances as seen in the longitudinal direction of the rail, and barb-like catch pawls are disposed on the slip contact bolder and engage with the punchouts in order to attach thereto.Type: GrantFiled: September 5, 2011Date of Patent: December 30, 2014Assignee: Terex MHPS GmbHInventors: Gerd Spies, Stefan Fitzler, Sven Müller

Publication number: 20120061527Abstract: The invention relates to trailing cable assembly including a hollow-profile rail that is open over a longitudinal gap and a plurality of suspension elements, which can be moved along the rail and to which an electrical power line may be fastened. In order to create such an assembly in which the suspension elements can be easily mounted and replaced, the suspension elements include support parts that can be introduced into a hollow space of the rail from the outside by way of the longitudinal gap to be in a mounting position, and the support part can be moved out of the mounting position and into a operating position in which it bridges the longitudinal gap of the rail.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 27, 2010Publication date: March 15, 2012Applicant: DEMAG CRANES & COMPONENTS GMBHInventors: Gerd Spies, Stefan Fitzler, Sven Muller
