  • Patent number: 11398945
Abstract: A system for error detection and troubleshooting analysis in a network consisting of a plurality of network components having software modules and communication interfaces and network nodes, which are connected to the network components by means of communication connections. The network components and/or the network nodes are designed to generate data, which are stored as a quantity of historical data, and to form event sequences from the quantity of historical data consisting of a sequence of events is provided. The system is designed to extract those event sequences from the event sequences which end with an alarm event (a), to extract relevant events in turn from said event sequences having an alarm event (a) for an error analysis and to construct reduced event sequences from the relevant events, and, for each reduced event sequence, to construct an automaton for detecting said reduced event sequence.

  • Publication number: 20200007154
Abstract: Provided is a method and a device for the lossless compression of a data stream which includes a sequence of structured data objects which have a list of properties which each contain a key value pair, the method having the following steps: dividing the structured data objects of the data stream into a constant data object portion which has key value pairs with constant values and into variable data object portions which have key value pairs with variable values; transmitting the constant data object portion of the structured data objects once to a receiver; and transmitting the variable data object portions of the divided data objects of the data stream to the receiver.

  • Patent number: 9361655
Abstract: In a method for controlling the electrical power consumption of a plurality of power consumers in a power grid, the power consumers represent network nodes of a communication network made of a plurality of network nodes, in which the power consumers communicate with each other. Each of the network nodes estimates the total power consumption of the network nodes based on the exchange of information with one other network node. Each network node having an additional power demand which increases a required amount of power, compares the total power consumption estimated by the network node plus the required amount of power to a predefined total power demand of the network nodes and initiates a delivery of the required amount of power from a power provider when the estimated total power demand thereof plus the required amount of power is less than the predefined total power demand by a threshold value.

Abstract: In a method for controlling the electrical power consumption of a plurality of power consumers in an electrical power grid, the power consumers represent network nodes of a distributed communication network made of a plurality of network nodes, in which the power consumers communicate with each other. The network nodes estimate the total power consumption of the network nodes based on the exchange of information with one other network node. Each network node, the power demand of which increases by a required amount of power, compares the total power consumption estimated by same plus the required amount of power to a predefined total power demand of the network nodes and initiates a delivery of the required amount of power from a power provider if the estimated total power demand thereof plus the required amount of power is less than the predefined total power demand by a threshold value.

  • Patent number: 8495634
Abstract: In a method for the management of tasks in a decentralized data network with a plurality of nodes for carrying out the tasks, resources are distributed based on a mapping rule, in particular a hash function. A task that is to be suspended is distributed by dividing the process image of the task into segments and by distributing the segments over the nodes using the mapping rule. Thus, a distributed swap space is created so that tasks can also be carried out on nodes whose swap space is not sufficient on its own. The method can be used in embedded systems with a limited storage capacity and/or in a voltage distribution system, wherein the nodes are, for example, switching units in the voltage distribution system. The method can also be used in any other technical systems such as, for example, a power generation system, an automation system and the like.
