  • Patent number: 8889002
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for cleaning fluid media containing particulate matter, particularly from livestock husbandry, by means of ozonization in a closed ozonization container (11) and subsequent separation of the particulate matter portions. A vertically extending hollow cylindrical fixture (17) is disposed in the closed ozonization container (11). The fixture (17) is operatively connected to a rotating agitator shaft (16), wherein agitation means (18, 19) are associated with the agitator shaft (16), and the fixture (17) is equipped with supply lines (22, 23) by means of which ozone can be fed.

  • Patent number: 6555070
Abstract: The exhaust component has an exhaust manifold with at least two inlet lines, and, for example, also a catalytic converter and a wall with two composite wall elements. The two wall elements together, in cross section, surround interior spaces of all the inlet lines and, if appropriate, also the catalyst means of the catalytic converter. Each wall element has two single-piece metal shells and a layer of heat-insulating material which is arranged between these shells, so that each wall element provides good thermal insulation. During the production of a wall element, the shells belonging to this element, as well as the layer of insulating material arranged between them, are together subjected to plastic deformation. This allows inexpensive production of the wall.

  • Patent number: 6187238
Abstract: A fiber material of PTFE and, optionally, hydrophilizing additives, for use in the production of diaphragms for the electrolysis of alkali chlorides, as well as for filter layers. The fiber material comprises fiber bundles and these, in turn, comprise individual microfibrils, there being irregularly shaped interstices between the microfibrils. The fiber material is produced in that a PTFE dispersion, consisting of a salt solution with PTFE particles and, optionally, hydrophilizing additives, is treated in a hot gas/vapor stream in a fluidized bed apparatus charged with inert solids. The method permits the fiber material to be produced also in larger quantities in an economic manner.
