  • Patent number: 11998376
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for generating training data for training an algorithm for estimating positioning variances in an imaging apparatus of an x-ray imaging system is provided. The method includes predetermining target positioning data for the imaging apparatus and calculating faulty positioning data, wherein the faulty positioning data deviates from the target positioning data by at least one predetermined positioning variance. An imaging method is simulated, in order to generate two or more simulated x-ray recordings, wherein a positioning of the imaging apparatus is simulated in accordance with the faulty positioning data. An annotated training data record is generated and stored, wherein the training data record contains two or more simulated x-ray recordings and at least one positioning variance as an annotation of the two or more simulated x-ray recordings.

  • Patent number: 11133874
Abstract: Encoders and decoders for encoding and decoding data according to a coding scheme. The encoder converts N bits of input data into M voltage signals for transmission over M parallel wires to a decoder having one or two decoding stages that recover the N bits of data from the M voltage signals. The coding scheme is an N-bit, M-wire PAM-Q code in which each voltage signal wi has one of Q voltage levels l1-lQ, where l1<l2< . . . <lQ, and the different sets of M voltage signals for the different N-bit input values are permutations of a single set of M voltage signals. The decoder has a comparator stage. For the decoder having one other decoding stage, the other decoding stage is a computation stage or a logic stage that is before or after the comparator stage.

  • Patent number: 10904040
Abstract: A method is provided for channel estimation of an antenna array comprising multiple antenna elements. The method comprises obtaining channel state information for antenna elements with a high-end radio frequency chain, wherein the antenna elements with the high-end radio frequency chain are placed in the antenna array intermittently with antenna elements with a low-cost radio frequency chain. Channel state information is estimated for the antenna elements with the low-cost radio frequency chain, by interpolating the channel state information obtained for the antenna elements with the high-end radio frequency chain.

  • Patent number: 10880037
Abstract: A signal receiver for interpreting a received signal is provided, the receiver being configured to perform: decoding the received signal so as to form a sequence of symbols hypothesised to represent the content of the received signal; comparing the frequency of occurrence of symbols within the sequence with a predetermined symbol distribution; and if the relative frequency of occurrence of symbols within the sequence of symbols does not match the predetermined distribution, treating the sequence of symbols as being an incorrect representation of the content of the received signal.

  • Publication number: 20140085297
Abstract: A method is disclosed for displaying a digital medical image dataset. In an embodiment of the method, when a new set of diagnostic findings is generated, an associated new information field is also generated. A number of possible positions are determined for the new information field. Each of the positions is assigned an evaluation metric in accordance with a number of predefined criteria. The new information field is in this case arranged at that position having the best evaluation metric. Each existing information field that overlaps with the new information field is shifted until the existing information field is arranged free of overlap with the new information field. Other existing information fields that overlap with previously shifted information fields are shifted until all of the information fields are arranged free of overlap with one another.
