  • Patent number: 9355550
Abstract: An operating state warning device (1) for visually and/or audibly indicating at least one operating state or, respectively, a number of different operating states of a technical device such as a machine, an installation, a vehicle or the like having at least one visual and/or audible warning element (2), wherein at least one adjusting unit (4) for setting and/or adapting at least one operating parameter of the warning element (2) such as lighting color, color intensity, luminous image, volume, melody, tone sequence or the like is provided, wherein the adjusting unit (4) comprises at least one interface (6, 16) for receiving setting information of the operating parameter, is proposed for improving the configuration or the setting of such devices. According to the invention, this is achieved by the fact that the interface (16) of the adjusting unit (4) is designed as a wave receiver (6) for receiving waves as wireless setting information of the operating parameters.

  • Patent number: 7466238
Abstract: A signal unit is provided for signaling at least one operating state of a technical device such as a machine, installation, vehicle, or the like, having at least one acoustic signal transmitter (2) for generating an acoustic signal, thereby improving the monitoring of the technical device. This is achieved according to the invention by providing a sensor unit or detecting an acknowledgment of the signal.

  • Patent number: 5889922
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for driving an electric motor (1) which is employed, in particular, in manually guided electric tools, such as drilling machines, screwing machines or the like. Variable pulses of an electric voltage are applied to the electric motor (1) in such a way that the rotor of the electric motor (1) moves at a rotational speed which can be set. In order that the rotor of the electric motor (1) moves intermittently or abruptly, at least parts of at least individual pulses are blanked by superposition of a pulse interval having a zero voltage. A circuit arrangement for a method of this type has control electronics (5) and an electronic power switch (4), such as a triac, a transistor, an IGBT or the like, which is switched by the control electronics (5) in such a way that the variable pulses can be applied to the electric motor (1) via the electronic power switch (4).
