  • Publication number: 20170035783
Abstract: The invention relates to a means of prevention and therapy of hormone-sensitive tumour tissue, especially for the prevention and/or inhibition of mammary carcinoma or prostate carcinoma. The composition according to the invention is characterised by comprising steroid hormones and aromatase inhibitors. This is preferably a triple combination of the steroid hormones oestriol (E3), progesterone and testosterone and an aromatase inhibitor. • Publication number: 20080057117
Abstract: A pharmacologically active composition which is suitable for use in palliative cancer therapy and as an agent having a muscle-relaxing and/or analgetic effect in neurological diseases. Said composition contains at least 80 wt. %, preferbly 90 wt. %, tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) an cannabidiol (CBD), in relation to the overall weight of cannabinoids present therein. The weight ratio of THC to CBD=75:25-20:80, preferably 3:1-1:2, an especially 2:1. Said composition can be used for the production of pharmacologically effective agents which can be used in palliative cancer therapy and in the treatment of neurological disease.

  • Publication number: 20040043063
Abstract: The invention is concerned with a means for the therapy of malignant diseases, in particular for the prevention or inhibition of metastases of solid tumours expressing HER2. The means in keeping with this invention is characterized by the fact that it favours the expression of the Keratin genes 8 and 18 (K8, K18) in tumour cells. The K18 gene is preferred for the gene therapeutic treatment and it is preferential for the HER2-mediated in vivo transfection with a liposomal capsule equipped with antibodies against the HER2 receptor. The subject of the invention is thus the use of the K8 and K18 genes for the therapy of solid tumours, in particular for breast cancer. Areas of application for the invention are in medicine and the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Patent number: 6518769
Abstract: To monitor an electrode lead composed of two lines in a bipolar HVDCT system, a balanced-to-ground pulse formed from an unbalanced-to-ground pulse in push/pull mode is fed into the lines and an actual echo curve is recorded from the echo signals and compared to a dynamic target echo curve, a fault signal being generated when a tolerance band placed around the echo difference curve is exceeded. In this way, a monitoring method is achieved which is nearly independent of the sharply fluctuating ground conductance, which has a higher range with simultaneously lower dispersion of the echo, which radiates less electromagnetic energy and which requires no additional decoupling elements.

  • Patent number: 6065363
Abstract: A change-speed gearbox of a motor vehicle includes a shifting element moveable within a plurality of shift gates for engaging and disengaging a selected gear. A gearshift member cooperates with the gear shifting element. The gearshift member is movable to perform a rotary shift movement and a linear shift movement. A shift device for the gearbox includes a motor having a shaft extending therefrom rotatable about an axis. The gearshift member is axially slidably supported by the motor shaft and rotatably engaged therewith. A solenoid is engaged with the gearshift member for slidably axially moving the gearshift member into a plurality of positions corresponding with the shift gates.

  • Patent number: 5689997
Abstract: An electric gearshift mechanism for a change-speed gearbox of a motor vehicle with selector gates has an electric motor and a gear shifting member. The gear shifting member can be moved in two substantially mutually transverse shifting movements. The gear shifting member includes a threaded spindle having an axis of rotation drivably connected to the motor carrying a nut having a finger for preselecting selector gates. A linear guide conducts the nut along the axis and a clutch rotatably connects the nut and the spindle.
