Abstract: A medical therapy system includes an x-ray system for locating a treatment site in a patient and a therapy device for administering medical therapy. Apparatus is provided for supporting and positioning the therapy device, which includes a computer into which the position of the therapy device can be entered with reference to the x-ray images, with automatic positioning of the therapy device being undertaken based on the entered data.

Abstract: An x-ray diagnostics apparatus for obtaining an x-ray exposure of a bedridden patient permits the exposure to be obtained without moving the patient from the bed. The patient bed has two patient bearing surfaces. The patient lies on the upper surface, and a lower surface is vertically adjustable beneath the upper surface. When the lower surface is lowered to permit the introduction of an x-ray cassette between the upper and lower surfaces, the upper surface is supported, such as by a fabric tentered to the bed frame. An optical system is provided for accurately positioning the x-ray film cassette, and a wireless transmission path for an automatic exposure unit may also be provided.

Abstract: The invention relates to a radiodiagnostic installation with a motor-adjustable patient table, a motor-adjustable radiation diaphragm, and an image intensifier television system for image reproduction. With the monitor of the image intensifier television system a light pen is associated for the entry of certain sites on the monitor into a memory. Connected to the memory are control circuits for the motors of the patient table and of the primary radiation diaphragm, which are designed so that the patient table and the primary radiation diaphragm are adjusted in accordance with the respective image field on the monitor to which the light pen points.
