Abstract: The invention provides a concept for a series of forwardly tilting truck cabs which may be readily adapted to different sizes of trucks. The basic structure of the cab comprises a front wall, a back wall, a roof assembly and a floor assembly. A plurality of standard functional modules may be fitted to the basic cab. The complete access step unit is separate from the cab and is directly secured to the vehicle chassis. Exposed parts of the cab are provided with stiffening members of which at least some are adapted to perform additional functions.

Abstract: Apparatus for locating and securing an object in first and second end positions between which it is movable comprising two parallel pivot arms which support the object for movement between its end positions and fittings at the end positions on both sides of the object. The fittings are provided with inclined guide surfaces and latching holes adapted for receiving latching pins on the object under spring pressure when the object is at the end positions. Located around the latching pins are guide nuts adapted for cooperating with the inclined guide surfaces in order to position the object as it approaches and occupies its end positions. The inclined guide surfaces of the fittings face one another and converge in the direction of entry of the object between the fittings. The fittings also have guide surfaces extending perpendicular to the inclined guide surfaces whereby the guide nuts are guided along their end faces and along circumferential guide surfaces.

Abstract: In a cabin for trucks with trailer-fixtures, a first sleeping-berth is arranged behind and between the seats on the rear wall of the cabin pivotally about a horizontal pin. A second sleeping-berth is provided, that is conveyable from an operational position next to the first sleeping-berth to a horizontal storing position above the first sleeping-berth. A linkage for moving the second berth comprises two cantilevers that are pivotally fixed to the cabin about a horizontal pin and hold the second sleeping-berth at the lateral sides thereof.
