In one embodiment, an article of manufacture comprises: a first layer of fabric; a second layer of fabric; and circuitry disposed between the first layer of fabric and the second layer of fabric, the circuitry comprising: at least one light emitting diode; and a control device coupled to the at least one light emitting diode, wherein the control device is configured to control illumination of the at least one light emitting diode. In some embodiments, the system further comprises a power source coupled to the control device and configured to provide power to the control device and the at least one light emitting diode. In some embodiments, the power source is removably coupled to the circuitry, and comprises a battery pack.
