  • Publication number: 20210241505
Abstract: A computer system displays an annotation placement user interface that includes a representation of a field of view of one or more cameras that is updated over time based on changes in the field of view, and a placement user interface element indicating a location. If the placement user interface element is over a representation of a first type of feature in the physical environment, the appearance of the placement user interface element changes to indicate an anchor point corresponding to the first type of feature, and the system displays a first set of guides. If the placement user interface element is over a representation of a second, different type of feature in the physical environment, the appearance of the placement user interface element changes to indicate an anchor point corresponding to the second type of feature, and the system displays a second, different set of guides.

  • Publication number: 20210241483
Abstract: A computer system displays an annotation placement user interface that includes a representation of a field of view of one or more cameras that is updated over time based on changes in the field of view, a placement user interface element indicating a virtual annotation placement location. If the placement user interface element is over a representation of a physical feature in the physical environment that can be measured, the appearance of the placement user interface element changes in accordance with one or more aspects of the representation of the physical feature, and, in response to an input to perform one or more measurements of the physical feature: if the physical feature is a first type of feature, measurements of a first measurement type are made; and, if a second, different type of physical feature, measurements of a second, different measurement type are made.

  • Patent number: 11073374
Abstract: An electronic device displays a representation of a physical space, receives a first set of inputs, and adds a first virtual annotation to the representation of the physical space, the first virtual annotation being linked to a portion of the representation of the physical space. The electronic device then receives a second set of inputs. If the second set of inputs corresponds to a request to create a virtual annotation within a threshold distance from the first virtual annotation, the electronic device creates a second virtual annotation in the representation of the physical space while maintaining the first virtual annotation. If the second set of inputs corresponds to a request to create a virtual annotation outside of the threshold distance from the first virtual annotation, the electronic device creates a second virtual annotation in the representation of the physical space and removes the first virtual annotation.

  • Patent number: 11073375
Abstract: An electronic device displays an application user interface that includes a representation of a field of view of one or more cameras. The representation of the field of view is updated over time based on changes to current visual data detected by the one or more cameras, and the field of view includes a physical object in a three-dimensional space. While the device is a first distance from the physical object, the device displays a representation of a measurement that corresponds to the physical object, and one or more first scale markers along the representation of the measurement at a first scale. After the device has moved to a second distance from the physical object, the device displays, at a second scale that is different from the first scale, one or more second scale markers along at least a portion of the representation of the measurement.

  • Patent number: 11048873
Abstract: At an electronic device, detect a first input on the touch-sensitive surface that represents selection of a first ideogram. Identify at least one attribute of the first ideogram. Select a plurality of suggested one or more characters to display, where at least a first set of suggested one or more characters is selected based on a set of selection criteria, the set of selection criteria including the identified at least one attribute of the first ideogram. Display at least the first set of suggested one or more characters. Detect a second input on the touch-sensitive surface that represents selection of the displayed first set of suggested one or more characters. In response to detecting the second input, displaying a composed electronic message, the composed electronic message including the first ideogram and the selected first set of suggested one or more characters.

  • Patent number: 11017608
Abstract: An electronic device, while displaying a first user interface region and a first media item, detects a first input corresponding to a sharing user interface. In response, the device displays the sharing user interface, which includes a second user interface object for initiating a process for displaying a second representation of a first media item in an augmented reality environment. In response to detecting a sequence of one or more inputs including selection of the second user interface object, the device displays the second representation of the first media item in a second user interface that includes content of at least a portion of a field of view of the device's one or more cameras.

  • Patent number: 11003308
Abstract: A computer system displays an annotation placement user interface that includes a representation of a field of view of one or more cameras that is updated over time based on changes in the field of view, and a placement user interface element indicating a virtual annotation placement location. If the placement user interface element is over a representation of a first type of physical feature, the annotation placement user interface operates in a first annotation mode for adding annotations of a first type. In response to detecting movement of the one or more cameras relative to the physical environment, the system updates the representation of the field of view. If the placement user interface element is over a representation of a second, different type of physical feature, the annotation placement user interface operates in a second, different annotation mode for adding annotations of a second, different type.

  • Patent number: 10997768
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to generating and modifying virtual avatars. An electronic device having a camera and a display apparatus displays a virtual avatar that changes appearance in response to changes in a face in a field of view of the camera. In response to detecting changes in one or more physical features of the face in the field of view of the camera, the electronic device modifies one or more features of the virtual avatar.

  • Patent number: 10860177
Abstract: An application launching user interface that includes a plurality of application icons for launching corresponding applications is displayed. A first touch input is detected on a first application icon of the plurality of application icons. The first application icon is for launching a first application that is associated with one or more corresponding quick actions. If the first touch input meets one or more application-launch criteria which require that the first touch input has ended without having met a first input threshold, the first application is launched in response to the first touch input. If the first touch input meets one or more quick-action-display criteria which require that the first touch input meets the first input threshold, one or more quick action objects associated with the first application are concurrently displayed along with the first application icon without launching the first application, in response to the first touch input.
