  • Publication number: 20120093147
Abstract: Method and system are disclosed for providing a telephone user with a capability to use Internet-based applications. The method comprises the following steps: At a first server, receiving an indication transmitted from the telephone denoting a request to be connected to an Internet-based application residing at a second server. Establishing a communication path that extends between the telephone and the second server via said first server. At the first server, creating a virtual client entity specific to that telephone and the Internet-based application to be used. The virtual client allows communication between the telephone device and that Internet-based application. The virtual client entity is maintained for the duration of a communication session that is about to take place between the telephone user and the Internet-based application.

  • Patent number: 8064434
Abstract: A method for providing a user of a telephone device with a capability to use Internet-based applications. The user of a telephone device sends a request to be connected to an Internet-based application to a first server, which establishes a communication path extending between the telephone device and a second server at which the application resides, via that first server. A virtual client entity is created at that first server specific to the telephone device to allow communication between the telephone device and the application and concluded upon termination of the communication session. The user's ID for that application is stored, and used to forward messages for that user when the user is not actively connected to that application. After the message has been received and stored by the first server, an indication is sent to the user that such messages have been received.

  • Publication number: 20110203974
Abstract: A separation arrangement is provided for separating between particles of different materials having different densities and comprised in a mixture of fine particles. The arrangement comprises: a solid particles feed ingress means, a solid particles pushing/pulling means and at least one mesh adapted to stop particles of the lighter material. The particles comprised in the mixture are allowed to free fall within the separation arrangement, and particles of the lighter material are being extracted away from the free falling particles by the solid particles pushing/pulling means and conveyed towards the at least one mesh. The particles of the heavier material are allowed to complete their free fall and to reach the lower part of the separation arrangement.

  • Publication number: 20110204165
Abstract: A cooling arrangement adapted to be used in a process of preparing a fine powder, and a method for using same are described. The cooling arrangement (100) comprises: a solid particles feed ingress means, a solid particles mixing means (140), a plurality of cooling air discharging devices (130) and a solid particles egress means. The cooling arrangement is characterized in that the averaged diameter of the solid particles fed the said solid particles ingress means is essentially less than 6 mm. Preferably, the solid particles are fed to the cooling arrangement and free fall (120) onto the bottom section thereof.

  • Publication number: 20090110501
Abstract: A cutting tool of the sort used for deep hole drilling has a cutting head mounted on a shank. The cutting head is formed asymmetrically with respect to a longitudinal axis and has at least one cutting edge. The cutting head has guiding segments that extend from a forward end to a rear end of the cutting head. Each of the guiding segments has a guiding pad in the periphery thereof. A forward end of the guiding pad lies on a cylindrical envelope defined by the cutting diameter of the cutting tool. A rear engagement portion of the cutting head is engaged with a forward engagement portion of the shank. The cutting head is made from sintered carbide powders and the guiding pads are integrally formed with the cutting head.

Abstract: A method is described for providing a user of a telephone device with a capability to use Internet-based applications. The user of a telephone device sends a request to be connected to an Internet-based application. The request is received by a first server, which in return is operative to establish a communication path extending between the user's telephone device and a second server at which the application resides via that first server. Next, a virtual client entity is created at that first server, where this entity is operative to communicate with the telephone device on one hand and with the application residing at the second server. This virtual client entity preferably exists for the duration of a communication session that is about to take place between the user and the requested application, and be eliminated once the user logs off from the application.

  • Publication number: 20080005299
Abstract: A method is described for providing a user of a telephone device with a capability to receive an indication that a message has been sent to that user via an Internet-based application, irrespective whether the user is currently actively connected to that application or not. The method comprises the steps of receiving a message addressed to said user at a second server associated with the Internet-based application, forwarding the message towards a first server at which a virtual client entity was previously created to allow conducting a communication session that was held between the user and the Internet-based application, determining whether the user is currently connected to the Internet-based application, storing the message if the user is not currently connected to that Internet application and providing the user with an indication that at least one message addressed to him/her has been stored.

  • Patent number: 5382213
Abstract: A tool locking and releasing device having a rotatably driven spindle rotatably mounted on a support frame. A socket is formed in the spindle coaxial with an axis of rotation thereof and is adapted to receive a tool holder and to retain it against relative rotational movement. Wrench means is provided to grip a tool locking member so that upon the application of a rotary drive to the spindle in a first directional sense the tool holder is rotated and the tool locking member is tightened with a predetermined torque, and upon the rotation of the spindle in an opposite directional sense the tool locking member is loosened.
