  • Patent number: 11977734
Abstract: Techniques are provided for implementing storage block balancing using volume part migration. One method comprises obtaining a capacity utilization of storage blocks each storing a portion of one or more storage volumes; and when the capacity utilization of a given storage block is above an upper target threshold, migrating a volume part of the given storage block to a different storage block having a capacity utilization below a lower target threshold, wherein the different storage block is within a same storage pool as the given storage block, and wherein the volume part comprises a subset of a storage volume.

  • Patent number: 11727921
Abstract: A method, a system, and a computer program product for executing intent classification based on user feedback in a digital assistant environment. Using a natural language processor, an audio input received from user is processed. At least one implicit feedback parameter is extracted from the processed audio input. The feedback parameter classifies an intent derived from the audio input received from the user. The extracted feedback parameter is stored in a replay memory. The replay memory stores labeled data associated with the audio input received from the user. Based on the processed audio input and the labeled data, an initial response to the received audio input is determined. Modeling of the extracted implicit feedback parameter and the stored labeled data is executed. An updated response to the received audio input is generated.

  • Patent number: 11154663
Abstract: A needle and pre-filled syringe system that provides ultra-low dosage waste and automatic needlestick protection. A syringe assembly is pre-filled with an injection material. A needle head assembly attaches to the syringe assembly. A spacer is disposed between the needle head assembly and the syringe assembly. The spacer has a central opening. The needle head assembly supports a needle with a needle base. When assembled, the needle base passed into the central opening of the spacer. The needle head assembly also contains a safety slide that can selectively cover the needle. During an injection, pressure and/or contact with the plunger head causes the spacer to contact and move the safety slide. The safety slide moves to cover the needle during the injection procedure, therein rendering the needle safe before the injection process is even complete.

  • Patent number: 11120223
Abstract: Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for probabilistic word embeddings for text classification. A text classification system receives a message including a keyword and determines an embedding probability distribution representing the keyword. The text classification system then determines an embedding value for the keyword based on the embedding probability distribution. The text classification system uses the embedding value as input into a set of mathematical functions, yielding a first set of coefficient values for the keyword. Each respective mathematical function from the set corresponds to a respective classification label from a set of classification labels and defines a continuous surface.

  • Patent number: 10980950
Abstract: A needle and syringe system that provides ultra-low dosage waste and automatic needlestick protection. A syringe assembly is provided that contains a barrel and a plunger. A tubular spacer is disposed in the barrel. A needle head assembly is provided that includes a collar and a needle. A safety slide is positioned between the needle and the collar. The safety slide has a sheathing tube that surrounds part of the needle. The safety slide can move relative the needle. In a first position, the sheathing tube does not extend beyond the sharpened end of the needle. In a second position, the sheathing tube extends beyond the sharpened end of the needle. When advanced, the plunger head moves the tubular spacer. The tubular spacer passes over the base of the needle and presses against the safety slide. The safety slide is moved from the first position to the second position.

  • Publication number: 20200167429
Abstract: Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for efficient use of word embeddings for text classification. A text classification system receives a message including a keyword and determines an embedding value for the keyword. The text classification system uses the embedding value as input into each mathematical function in a set mathematical functions, yielding a first set of coefficient values for the keyword. Each respective mathematical function corresponds to a respective intent and defines a continuous surface determined from a subset of coefficient values and embedding values for a set of known keywords. For each intent, the text classification system calculates a probability score based on the respective coefficient value from the set of coefficient values that corresponds to the respective intent, yielding a set of probability scores for the message, and the assigns an intent to the message based on the set of probability scores for the message.
