  • Patent number: 11859408
Abstract: An opening device for a door lock is provided. The opening device includes a driver rigidly connected to an inside handle; an inside shaft designed to rotate an internal latching mechanism of the door lock, the inside shaft having a follower and a through cavity; a first gear engaged rotationally to the driver; an outside shaft designed to be rotated by an outside handle, the outside shaft including a cylindrical part disposed inside the through cavity of the inside shaft, a polyhedral part engaged with the outside handle, and a gear seat located at end of the cylindrical part and outside of the inside shaft; a second gear slidable along the gear seat; an engagement mechanism causing the first gear and the second gear to be engaged, thereby causing the driver to engage the follower, which causes the inside shaft to rotate in response to rotation of the outside shaft.

  • Patent number: 11861960
Abstract: A system for unlocking a door is provided. The system includes an unlocking mechanism, an electronic board, and a mechanical switch. The unlocking mechanism is configured to unlock the door. The electronic board is configured to be activated from a sleep mode into an active mode. The sleep mode causes the electronic board to consume less than a predetermined amount of power. The mechanical switch is configured to be physically activated to close an electric circuit in the electronic board, thereby causing the electronic board to switch from the sleep mode to the active mode. Upon being activated into the active mode, the electronic board broadcasts a request to nearby computing devices to provide a verification code. Upon receiving the verification code, the electronic board activates the unlocking mechanism, thereby causing the unlocking mechanism to unlock the door, and switches back to the sleep mode.

  • Patent number: 10325430
Abstract: A lock stores two keys and can wirelessly communicate with a mobile device. After the mobile device obtains a lock instruction from a user, the lock generates a dynamic variable, encrypts it with a first key, and produces a first encrypted message including the encrypted dynamic variable. The first encrypted message is transmitted to the mobile device, which forwards it to a server. The server decrypts the first encrypted message with the first key, retrieves the dynamic variable, and encrypts the dynamic variable with a second key. The server produces a second encrypted message with the encrypted dynamic variable and sends the same to the mobile device, which forwards it to the lock. The lock decrypts the second encrypted message with the second key and determines that the decrypted dynamic variable is the same as was produced by the lock earlier. Based on the determination, the lock locks/unlocks a door.

  • Patent number: 10311514
Abstract: A financial messaging platform enables a plurality of users to communicate with each other in real-time. The platform can flag and/or isolate user communications, which contain specific financial product related information related to a trade, order, or market. The platform presents these communications in a uniform manner such that users can easily differentiate them in chat rooms. Once a user communication is flagged or tagged, it is insistently transferred to affiliated information pools in the form of isolated messages. Information pools are virtual message aggregators associated with particular users, which consolidate isolated messages based on their characteristics, origin, and predetermined rules. Within an information pool, the messages can also be parsed into sortable categories and be presented into a manner suitable for analyzing.

  • Patent number: 10049845
Abstract: A circuit board enclosure comprises a circuit breaker, platform, base, cover, and circuit board. The circuit breaker includes two conductors and a plate, which is connected to the conductors. The platform receives the circuit breaker. The base has a bottom member and an opening arranged in the bottom member. The base receives the platform with the circuit breaker such that the plate of the circuit breaker is accommodated substantially within the opening of the bottom member. The cover is configured to cover the base and form an interior space. The interior space accommodates the platform, the circuit breaker, and the circuit board. The circuit board is connected to the circuit breaker. The circuit board enclosure can be adhered to a substantially planar surface. The plate is configured such that removal of the circuit board enclosure from the substantially planar surface will damage the connection of the plate to the conductors.

  • Patent number: 9613137
Abstract: Methods and systems for identification of vehicle statuses are provided. This technology requires installation of identification tags, such as, for example, RFID tags or Wi-Fi tags, on vehicles, which actively or passively emit identification signals conveying vehicle identifiers. Interested parties, such as members of the public or police officers, are equipped with electronic devices (e.g., a tablet computer) suitable for receiving and processing the identification signals and processing the signals to obtain a vehicle status. The vehicle status allows determining whether the vehicle was stolen, is wanted, should be classified as suspicious, or is associated with any offences. The vehicle status is obtained by querying a database of vehicle statuses. Once vehicle status is obtained by the electronic device, it is displayed to the interested party. The technology further enables locating vehicles that do not emit an identification signal and reporting their location to authorities.

  • Publication number: 20160267435
Abstract: Methods and systems for remote watercraft identification and mooring facilitation are provided. This technology requires installation of identification tags, such as RFID tags, on watercrafts, which actively or passively emit identification signals conveying watercraft identifiers. When a watercraft arrives to a marina, a watercraft identifier can be acquired by an electronic device from the watercraft. This allows for verifying the watercraft and obtaining relevant watercraft information. A captain of the watercraft can send a mooring inquiry to the electronic device, in response to which the electronic device generates a contract offer with price estimated based on the watercraft identifier and data obtained from the mooring inquiry. The contract offer is electronically sent to the captain for acceptance. If accepted, the electronic device provides to the captain electronic map data with an indication of a dock allocated for mooring.

  • Publication number: 20160267451
Abstract: Methods and systems for processing payments based on remote vehicle identification are provided. This technology requires installation of identification tags, such as RFID tags, on vehicles, which actively or passively emit identification signals conveying vehicle identifiers. When a vehicle arrives on premises of a merchant, a vehicle identifier can be acquired by an electronic device from the vehicle. This allows for verifying the vehicle and obtaining relevant vehicle information. Once the vehicle is identified, the electronic device can cause performing a monetary or non-monetary transaction for goods or services provided by the merchant to the driver or owner of the vehicle. The transaction is performed by a payment processing service deployed on a server in accordance with one or more predetermined rules and against a vehicle owner's account maintained by a database of registered vehicles.

  • Publication number: 20150221140
Abstract: Methods and systems for processing tollgate and parking payments are provided. This technology requires installation of identification tags, such as RFID tags, on vehicles, which actively or passively emit identification signals conveying vehicle identifiers. Government officials, parking meters, and tollgates can be equipped with a dedicated electronic device having an emitter for acquiring identification signals and identifying vehicles based thereupon. Once the vehicle is identified, the electronic device can make a charge transaction in accordance with one or more predetermined rules and against a vehicle owner's account maintained by a database of registered vehicles. Accordingly, the charge transaction provides the automatic payment for parking, the use of toll roads, or fee associated with traffic or parking violation.
