    Abstract: The present invention relates to oral hygiene compositions having improved anticalculus activity containing a mixture of a sodium and potassium pyrophosphate salt and a polyacrylic acid or salt thereof or copolymers of acrylic acid and another monomer or mixtures thereof and an effective amount of a water soluble fluoride salt in a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier to provide enhanced anticalculus benefits.
