  • Patent number: 6494091
Abstract: Apparatus for measuring gravitational attraction of the Earth comprising a loop formed from a superconductor material. The loop being divided into a first portion and a second portion having a predetermined length and configuration. The loop being positioned under predetermined angle with respect to a horizontal plane. There are also means for initiation of a flow of superconducting carriers in each of first and second portions, and at least one phase shift inducing means formed in the loop. The first portion being positioned with respect to the second portion in such a way that the superconducting carriers conducted through the first portion spend a period of time at a different gravitational potential of the Earth than superconducting carriers conducted through the second portion, thus creating a gravitationally induced phase shift. The apparatus being completely isolated from influence of any external magnetic field.

  • Publication number: 20020066988
Abstract: Benches are proposed for use in the production of modular stairways. A bench for mounting step supports to stringers of a modular stairway frame comprises racks for holding stringers therein, jigs for releasably locking the step supports therein, and a mechanism connecting the racks to the jigs for (i) equally spacing and rotating the steps supports adapted therein with respect to the racks, and (ii) mounting identical or symmetrically identical step support and stringer assemblies. A bench for mounting an angled step post of a modular stairway frame comprises jigs for holding support plates and vertical posts, frames for holding step supports, and a mechanism connecting the jigs and the frames for ensuring a precise distancing of the support plates, the step supports, and the vertical posts adapted therein.

  • Patent number: 5803316
Abstract: A partition system to be added inside a pitcher. The system comprises an elongated partition plate having longitudinal sides, and a releasable hook. The hook is mounted inside the pitcher, adjacent to that portion of the walls of the pitcher terminating into a pouring lip, for temporary holding the partition plate adjacent to that portion of the walls of the pitcher and parallel to those walls. Thus inside the pitcher two zones are obtained:a zone regulating the size of material leaving the pouring lip and thereby preventing oversize material, and a confinement zone for confining the oversize material in the confinement zone.
