  • Patent number: 10098457
Abstract: Disclosed is a convertible article of furniture. The article includes a pair of side rails, with braces formed along an intermediate extent of the side rails. A series of pivotal support bars are also positioned along the pair of side rails. Forwardly and rearwardly located legs are included for supporting the side rails above the ground. The legs are pivotally related to the side rails. The article also includes a series of shelves, with each shelf being pivotally mounted between the pair of side rails. As such, the support bars can be used to selectively support the shelves at an angle relative to the side rails. • Patent number: 8535848
Abstract: The structured body intended for use for an anode (1) in fuel cells, includes a structure formed by macro-pores and an electrode material. The macro-pores form communicating spaces which are produced by using pore forming materials. The electrode material includes skeleton-like or net-like connected structures of particles which are connected by sintering and which form two reticular systems which interengage: a first reticular system made of ceramic material and a second reticular system which contains metals to effect an electrical conductivity. The electrode material has the properties so that, with a multiple change between oxidizing and reducing conditions, substantially no major property changes occur in the ceramic reticular system, and an oxidization or reduction of the metals occurs in the second reticular system.

  • Patent number: 7323268
Abstract: A power source with miniaturized SOFC fuel cells has: a stack (20) made up of the fuel cells (2), the volume of which is less than 10?3m3; a channel system (24, 25, 26) in which reactants, namely gaseous fuel (50) and also air (40), can be fed to the cells (2) and the fuel that is partially depleted in the cells is subjected to afterburning; a casing (10, 11) and a heat exchanger (6) where supplied air can be heated up with the exhaust gas (60) from the afterburning. The fuel cells contain a disc-shaped solid electrolyte (30) which in addition to ion conducting components also includes electron conducting components which cause an ohmic loss. In this way the quantity ratio of these components is so designed that in an idling operation of the power source a heat flow from the cells to the environment can be compensated by the ohmic loss.
