  • Patent number: 11761681
Abstract: A liquid-gas heat exchanger for use in a heat exchange system using solar energy has an insulated chamber adapted to allow hot air to pass therethrough. A coil member extends through the insulated chamber and is adapted to allow a heat transfer liquid to pass into and then out of the insulated chamber. The spacing between the windings of the coil are predefined and the coil is in a predetermined position inside the insulated chamber, so as to force the air to pass in between the coil windings and increase the air contact with the coil and provide a large heat exchange. Several baffle members are placed each side of the coil member and an interior area of the insulated chamber and force air to circulate multiple times through the coil member, thereby allowing for an efficient exchange from the hot air to the heat transfer liquid.

  • Patent number: 9982915
Abstract: An air heating unit using solar energy has an inner core further comprised of at least one passageway within which air circulates while being interfered by baffles shaped, sized, and positioned so as to create turbulence in the air flow in order to homogeneously warm the air.

  • Publication number: 20180094867
Abstract: A heat exchanger is comprised of a plurality of chambers, wherein each of the plurality of chambers has a repeating pattern of shapes wherein each of the plurality of chambers consists of two opposite deflectors, wherein each deflector is a mirror image of its opposite deflector but shifted approximately half a the wall length. Each of the deflectors is defined by a specific sequence of components starting with a rounded wall from which extends a shear barrier and the wall is terminated by a diverter. The diverter, along with the shear barrier, forms a low pressure zone which creates a vortex. A coil for carrying a liquid wherein the coil consists of a long winding pipe forming tube bundles passing through all of the plurality of chambers.

  • Publication number: 20150184955
Abstract: An air-liquid heat exchanger consists in an insulated chamber adapted to allow hot air to pass therethrough. A coil member extends through the insulated chamber and is adapted to allow a heat transfer liquid to pass into and then out of the insulated chamber. There is at least one bracket adapted to hold the coil member in a predetermined position and spacing between the windings of the coil within the insulated chamber, and at least one baffle member placed between the coil member and an interior surface of the insulated chamber and adapted to slow down the speed of air flow through the insulated chamber. A slower air speed increases the time and number of contactrs between the hot air and the coil member and thereby allows for an efficient exchange from the hot air to the heat transfer liquid.

  • Publication number: 20100200328
Abstract: The hydraulic boom system can include a boom receiving a work platform; a fixed component fixedly mountable to the vehicle; a rotary component, rotatably mounted on the fixed component about a vertical axis; a pivotal component, pivotally mounted to the rotary component about a horizontal axis, and receiving the boom; a hydraulic power unit having an electric motor driven hydraulic pump; and an electrical cable connected to the electric motor, and connectable to an electrical power supply located at a fixed position relative to the vehicle. The hydraulic power unit can be made integral to the rotary component. A raising hydraulic cylinder can extend downwardly inside a spacing in the fixed component. The electrical cable can have a coiled portion housed in the fixed component and coiled around the vertical axis.

  • Patent number: 4979884
Abstract: A two-cylinder pump for heavy flowable material comprising a pump body with a deck surface, a pair of cylinder bores opening at the deck surface, and a piston reciprocating in each cylinder bore in charging and discharging strokes. The pump further includes a valve conduit with an inlet port for the transfer of flowable material between the valve conduit and the cylinder bores, the valve conduit being pivotable about an axis to cause a movement of the inlet port across the deck surface between two operative positions, in each operative position the inlet port being in register with either one of the cylinder bores. A fluid operated piston-cylinder assembly is operatively mounted between the valve conduit and the pump body in order to produce a force with a direction generally coincident with the pivotal axis on the valve conduit for urging the inlet port thereof in sealing engagement with the deck surface of the pump body.
