    Abstract: In one aspect of the present invention there is provided an alarm communicator configured to communicate directly with an alarm panel. The alarm panel includes a key-switch input terminal which is in direct communication with a relay switch defined on the alarm communicator. The alarm communicator is capable of sending open or closed signals from the relay switch to the key-switch input terminal in response to receiving a command that was initiated from a remote device.
