    Abstract: There is provided a textile including a strain sensing portion integrally knitted therein and including groups of courses of yarn, each group including a first course of conductive yarn, a second course of dielectric yarn, and a third course of conductive yarn, each course including a plurality of knitted loops. The second course is arranged in between the first and third courses and configured to have a higher elasticity than the first and third courses such that when the strain sensing portion is at a relaxed state, corresponding knitted loops of the first and third courses are caused by a corresponding knitted loop of the second course to contact each other, and when the strain sensing portion is at a stretched state, corresponding knitted loops of the first and third courses are caused by a corresponding knitted loop of the second course to be not in contact with each other.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein is are systems, devices, and methods for an autorotating aerial device which includes a housing member having disposed thereon an actuator and a controller configured to control the actuator. The device also includes a wing member coupled to the actuator, the wing member including a main wing portion and a flap portion adjustable with respect to the main wing portion. The controller is configured to control the actuator to switch the autorotating aerial device between a diving mode of operation and an autorotating mode of operation based on adjusting an angle of attack of the flap portion, the angle of attack being with respect to a lateral axis along the main wing portion.

    Abstract: A method for measuring dynamic movement of a joint, the method comprising the steps of: measuring relative rotation of the joint using pair of Inertia measurement units, each attached to the skin on either side of said joint; capturing a plurality ultrasound images of a bone proximate to a first of said IMU's; identifying markers on said bone; tracking displacement of the markers; correlating said displacement with the relative rotation of the joint, and so; measuring the dynamic movement of the joint.
