The washing drum has a tubular body wall configured to rotate around a rotational axis, and the tubular body wall comprises at least one bulge protruding from the tubular body wall towards the rotational axis. The contour of the bulge at the tubular body wall has the shape of a squircle, wherein the reference axis of the squircle-shaped contour is inclined with respect to the rotational axis.

Abstract: A laundry machine for treating laundry is provided with a tub which includes a discharge hole for draining liquid out of the tub, and a plurality of drain-connection elements. The laundry machine further includes a discharge duct fluidly connected to the discharge hole for collecting liquid drained from the tub, and fixed to the tub by at least one of the drain-connection elements. The plurality of drain-connection elements include at least two different types of drain-connection elements, each one adapted for fixing a corresponding type of discharge duct to the tub by means of a corresponding connection arrangement.

Abstract: Present invention relates to a laundry machine (100) for treating laundry provided with a tub (200) which comprises a discharge hole (240) for draining liquid out of the tub (200), and a plurality of drain-connection elements (245a, 250a, 250b, 250c, 250d). The laundry machine (100) further comprises a discharge duct (300; 500; 600) fluidly connected to the discharge hole (240) for collecting liquid drained from the tub (200), and fixed to the tub by at least one of the drain-connection elements. The plurality of drain-connection elements (245a, 250a, 250b, 250c, 250d) comprises at least two different types of drain-connection elements (245a, 250a, 250b, 250c, 250d), each one adapted for fixing a corresponding type of discharge duct to the tub (200) by means of a corresponding connection arrangement.

Abstract: Front-loading clothes washing or drying machine comprising an outer casing, a worktop delimiting said outer casing at the top, a facia or control panel arranged on the upper front portion of said outer casing, in which said worktop and said control panel delimitate each other along respective edges that define a juncture, under which there are arranged gutter-like means having an upward open convexity facing said juncture extending thereabove, said gutter-like means extending in turn substantially over the whole length of said juncture. Said gutter-like means are provided as a unitary piece, i.e. integral with said worktop or, alternatively, as a unitary piece, i.e. integral with said control panel, or they may be provided by suitably forming an internal upper front crosspiece of the machine into a corresponding shape.

Abstract: A household-type washing machine or similar appliance in which the washing assembly (3) is anchored to the stationary structure (1) by one or more anchoring devices (2). Each anchoring device includes at least two elastic elements (10, 20) arranged in series. Firmly secured to each elastic element is a rigid element (15, 25) whose free end portion (15) protrudes beyond the other elastic element (20). The elastic elements (10, 20) work in this manner as compression elastic means and the elastic constant of the anchoring devices (2) readily and automatically adapts to the different conditions that happen to prevail during a washing cycle.

Abstract: A washing machine in which the washing assembly (3) is anchored to the stationary structure (1) by means of anchoring devices (2), each one of which includes at least two elastic elements (10, 20) arranged in series and enclosed in a rigid housing (50). Firmly secured to first end portions (11, 21) of the elastic elements (10, 20) there are rigid elements (14, 24) that extend inside the respective elastic elements (10, 20) and have their free end portions in the shape of hooks (15, 25) defining the anchoring points of the device (2). The free end portions (15, 25) protrude from apertures (33, 43) provided in mutually opposed bottom portions (32, 42) of the housing (50) against which are capable of abutting the second end portions (12, 22) of the same elastic elements (10, 20). As a result, the latter are subject to a variable extent of compression during the washing cycle.
