  • Publication number: 20230193957
Abstract: An anti-rotation assembly for use in preventing rotation of an outer race of a radial bearing with regard to a housing in which the radial bearing is mounted, the assembly including a housing with a cylindrical bore defined by a side wall, a recess extending radially-outwardly from the side wall of the cylindrical bore, and a snap ring including a pair of protrusions extending radially-outwardly therefrom, wherein the pair of projections are selectively received within the recess, thereby preventing rotation of the snap ring with respect to the housing.

  • Patent number: 10941851
Abstract: A pin assembly for use in a planetary gear including a pin including a cylindrical side wall defining a central bore that extends from a first end to a second end of the pin along its longitudinal center axis, an inlet bore, and a first annular groove that extends radially outwardly into the side wall of the pin adjacent the first end. A first cylindrical plate includes a first side wall, a second side wall, and a cylindrical outer wall extending therebetween, the first plate being disposed within the first annular groove of the pin, wherein a width of the first plate in a direction parallel to the longitudinal center axis is less than a width of the first annular groove in the direction parallel to the longitudinal center axis so that the first plate is axially slidable within the first annular groove.

  • Patent number: 9631716
Abstract: A pin assembly for use in a planetary gear, including a pin defining a blind bore therein, the blind bore extending axially from an opening and terminating with an end face, the pin defining an inlet bore and an outlet bore, and a plug including a substantially cylindrical body including a circular base wall and a sidewall extending from its outer perimeter, the sidewall defining an inlet recess and an outlet recess. The inlet recess and outlet recess of the plug are aligned with the inlet bore and outlet bore, respectively, of the pin when the plug is inserted in the pin.

  • Patent number: 9568088
Abstract: A pin assembly for use in a planetary gear, including a pin defining a blind bore therein, the blind bore extending axially from an opening and terminating with an end face, and an annular rib depending inwardly from an inner surface of the blind bore adjacent the opening. A plug includes a stopper portion and a shaft extending therefrom, the stopper portion including a circular base defining an outer perimeter. The outer perimeter of the stopper portion engages the annular rib, thereby maintaining the plug in the blind bore.
