  • Patent number: 4491531
Abstract: A liquid composition based on a fluorinated hydrocarbon solvent, additioned with an amount not exceeding 0.5% by weight of a surfactant consisting of a salt of an aliphatic diamine and of an alkyl-mono- or di-ester of phosphoric acid, such composition being particularly suited to remove water from the surfaces of articles.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: January 1, 1985
    Assignee: Montedison S.p.A.
    Inventors: Gianangelo Bargigia, Giuliano Carniselli
  • Patent number: 4198313
Abstract: The present invention concerns new propellant compositions for aerosols. More particularly, the propellant compositions of this invention consist of a mixture of one or more propelling hydrocarbon substances selected from the group consisting of propane, n-butane, isobutane, pentane and isopentanes with one or more halogenated organic compounds selected from the group consisting of CBrF.sub.3, CBrClF.sub.2 and CBrF.sub.2 -CBrF.sub.2.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: April 15, 1980
    Assignee: Montedison S.p.A.
Inventors: Gianangelo Bargigia, Gerardo Caporiccio, Giuliano Carniselli
  • Patent number: 4178465
Abstract: Perfluoropolyether oils containing traces of H.sub.2 O molecularly dissolved therein are rendered anhydrous and hyperpure by treatment with chlorine trifluoride or monofluoride at a pressure of 1-5 atm. and a temperature of 0.degree.-50.degree. C. after which the treated oil is selectively fractionated.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 4174295
Abstract: The present invention concerns new propellant compositions for aerosols. More particularly, the present invention relates to propellant compositions for aerosols, characterized in that said compositions consist of a mixture of a chlorofluorocarbon or fluorocarbon (A) containing hydrogen and selected from the group consisting of CHClF.sub.2, CH.sub.2 F.sub.2 and CF.sub.3 --CH.sub.3, with a chlorofluorocarbon or fluorocarbon (B) containing hydrogen and selected from the group consisting of: CH.sub.2 ClF, CClF.sub.2 --CHClF, CF.sub.3 --CHClF, CHF.sub.2 --CClF.sub.2, CHClF--CHF.sub.2, CF.sub.3 --CH.sub.2 --Cl, CHF.sub.2 --CHF.sub.2, CF.sub.3 --CH.sub.2 F, CClF.sub.2 --CH.sub.3 and CHF.sub.2 --CH.sub.3. In addition to propellant A and propellant B, there may be included a hydrocarbon propellant so that a ternary propellant composition is provided.
