  • Publication number: 20230160532
Abstract: The invention relates to a safety valve system (10a; 10b; 10c) for a combustion gas vehicle (11), having: an excess pressure valve unit (13) with a first gas outlet (14) for discharging excess pressure gas (29) out of a combustion gas tank (12) of the combustion gas vehicle (11) in a first outlet direction (RI) and at least one additional gas outlet (15, 16, 17) for discharging excess pressure gas (29) out of the combustion gas tank (12) in at least one additional outlet direction (R2) which differs from the first outlet direction (RI); a state detection unit (18) for detecting a vehicle position and/or a vehicle orientation of the combustion gas vehicle (11) and/or a surroundings state of the combustion gas vehicle (11); and an adjustment unit (19) for adjusting the discharge of excess pressure gas (29) through the first gas outlet (14) and/or through the at least one additional gas outlet (15, 16, 17) on the basis of the detected current vehicle position, the detected current vehicle orientation, and/or the

  • Patent number: 11137663
Abstract: A frequency conversion device, including a source of a pump beam of electromagnetic radiation of a first wavelength, and an array of mutually spaced semiconductor islands including at least one III-V semiconductor compound and configured so that the pump beam of electromagnetic radiation of the first wavelength incident upon the semiconductor islands and electromagnetic radiation of a second wavelength incident upon the semiconductor islands cause the semiconductor islands to emit electromagnetic radiation of a third wavelength different to the first and second wavelengths by at least one of a sum frequency generation process and a difference frequency generation process, wherein the semiconductor islands are supported by a transparent support such that the support is substantially transparent to radiation of the third wavelength, wherein at least the radiation of the third wavelength passes through the transparent support.

  • Publication number: 20200209708
Abstract: A frequency conversion device, including a source of a pump beam of electromagnetic radiation of a first wavelength, and an array of mutually spaced semiconductor islands composed of at least one III-V semiconductor compound and configured so that the pump beam of electromagnetic radiation of the first wavelength incident upon the semiconductor islands and electromagnetic radiation of a second wavelength incident upon the semiconductor islands cause the semiconductor islands to emit electromagnetic radiation of a third wavelength different to the first and second wavelengths by at least one of a sum frequency generation process and a difference frequency generation process; wherein the semiconductor islands are supported by a transparent support such that the support is substantially transparent to radiation of the third wavelength, wherein at least the radiation of the third wavelength passes through the transparent support.

  • Patent number: 7871251
Abstract: A high-pressure pump for feeding fuel to an internal combustion engine has a pump housing; a fuel delivery duct; and a check valve, which is arranged along the delivery duct, and comprises a fuel chamber; a valve member mobile within the fuel chamber; and a biasing and guiding assembly, which has a fastening member suitable for being fastened to the pump housing and sealing the fuel chamber in a fluid-tight manner; a helical spring suitable for biasing the valve member; and a bushing arranged about the helical spring in order to prevent bending of the helical spring.

  • Publication number: 20090037031
Abstract: A system comprised of a number of incubators each having a housing, a sample chamber placed inside the housing, a temperature control unit, and control electronics that control the temperature control unit. The sample chambers of the incubators can be heated and/or cooled. The housings of the incubators each have a closeable access opening for loading and unloading the sample chamber. The housings permit the incubators to be vertically stacked. The incubators each have a bus system that interacts with its control electronics. The bus systems of the incubators are interconnected via corresponding connecting elements, and the system comprises a central control unit that is connected to the bus system of one of the incubators of the system (master incubator). Over the bus system architecture, an individual controlling of the control electronics of all incubators of the system is made possible by a central control unit.
