  • Patent number: 9016600
Abstract: A pepper spray gun assembly having a trigger valve for dispensing a non-lethal spray, such as a pepper spray. The assembly includes a storage cylinder for receiving a non-lethal spray charge and a smaller pre-charged charging cylinder for engaging the storage cylinder. The charging cylinder is fluidly coupled to the storage cylinder so as to provide a regulated gas in the head space of the storage cylinder. When the trigger of the trigger valve is operated, the regulated gas will force the charge to be expelled through the nozzle of the trigger valve assembly.

  • Patent number: 8689814
Abstract: A regulated automatic changeover valve is provided. A device engages the first and second high pressure gas source for providing a lower pressure gas source downstream of the changeover valve. An eccentric is provided between two valve assemblies, with each valve assembly having a piston with a valve arm projecting therefrom. The eccentric moves a block selectively closer to one of the two valve assemblies. Each valve assembly is engaged to a high pressure source, such as a tank of compressed gas. When a first tank begins to run low, the valve will automatically begin drawing from the second valve assembly. A tank that has run low of compressed gas may be changed out while the second, non-exhausted gas continues to feed the downstream device at a regulated gas pressure.

  • Publication number: 20090078321
Abstract: A gas pressure regulator comprising a housing. The housing includes a regulator cap and a regulator body. The regulator cap and the regulator body engage one another through the use of bayonets on one of the regulator cap or the regulator body and pockets on the other of the cap or body. The regulator housing includes a piston having a piston stem in a piston head. The piston stem has a channel and a seat seal on a removed end thereof, the channel for carrying gas to the piston head. The piston head also engages a piston spring. The regulator housing also includes an adjustable seat for receiving a high pressure compressed gas at one end and providing it to the piston stem at a second end. The adjustable seat is adjustable, such that when it is adjusted away from the piston stem, higher cutoff pressure is required than when it is closer.
