  • Patent number: 7434960
Abstract: A plumbing fixture or bathroom accessory includes a source of visible light, providing a pleasing aesthetic effect. Separate portions of faucet handles and/or spouts can be illuminated individually or as a group. A faucet spout and/or handle can include translucent or transparent material that captures and redirects light from the base, and may have opaque areas that provide other interesting patterns. The faucet light or lights can also serve as a nightlight for a bathroom or kitchen, saving the space that a separate nightlight would require. In another embodiment a light is provided in a faucet spout, which can illuminate a sink for a pleasing effect, and can also serve as a nightlight. The spout can be translucent, carrying light as well as water from its base. Lighted bathroom accessories can include towel bars or rings, toilet paper holders, paper towel holders, robe hooks, soap holders or grab bars.

  • Patent number: 7040135
Abstract: An apparatus for aligning an associated vehicle door with the cooperating portions of a vehicle body comprising a lever having a part adapted to engage in a latch at the door, which part extends from the lever to an adjustable degree, the lever carrying the protector plate relatively fixedly secured thereto which is adapted to be moved against the door without rotation when said part is moved into engagement with said door, adjustment of the position of the latch-engaging part relative to the rest of the lever being accomplished through manipulation of an element located at a conveniently accessible portion relatively remote from the door being aligned.

  • Patent number: 7008073
Abstract: A plumbing fixture mounted to a sink or other basin has a base region that also serves as a source of visible light, providing a pleasing aesthetic effect. Separate bases for faucet handles and a faucet spout can be illuminated individually or as a group. A faucet spout, trim and/or handle can be made of translucent or transparent material (e.g., acrylic, plastic, glass, crystal, etc.) that captures and redirects light from the base, and may have opaque areas that provide other interesting patterns.

  • Patent number: 5365958
Abstract: A razor cleaning device is attached to a source of tap water either at a faucet spout or independently of a faucet. The device contains a nozzle for directing the tap water to a location to which blades of a razor are guided for cleaning. The outlet of the nozzle is of a relatively small area, causing the tap water exiting from the nozzle to be of a high pressure. The device contains a valve which remains closed unless the razor blades are in place for cleaning, the closed valve causing the pressure at the valve to increase and also conserving water. The device contains a notched leaf for guiding the razor blades to the location for cleaning, and a lever which is pressed upon by the razor when the blades are in that location, the lever causing the valve to open and a high pressure blast of water to exit the nozzle, cleaning the blades.

  • Patent number: 5331837
Abstract: Apparatus for aligning an associated vehicle door with the cooperating portions of a vehicle body having a lever on an adjustable stand which can be hooked under the vehicle or held separately from the vehicle for alignment of doors that are fully open. The lever carries a hooked head that engages in a latch of the door, or any other known latch engaging devices. The head is attached to the lever by a bolt, and the distance between the head and lever can be adjusted to fit doors with outer walls that extend variable lengths. A plate is threaded onto the bolt between the head and the lever, and after the head is engaged in the latch, the plate is rotated to clamp against a surface of the door outside the latch.
