  • Publication number: 20150055623
Abstract: A method and apparatus for managing data in a software defined network. The apparatus is configured to receive control information related to a source node and a target node from a plurality of network devices in the software defined network. The apparatus is also configured to identify a route for data forwarding between the source node and the target node based on the control information. The apparatus is also configured to request data forwarding to the plurality of network devices according to the route. The source node or the target node can be at least one of a user equipment (UE), and a cellsite node including at least a base station.

  • Publication number: 20140254164
Abstract: Disclosed in an example embodiment herein is an in-pavement light fixture with a removable protective cover member. The removable protective cover member is mounted on a base and protects the light source and optics. If a repair to the light source, optics, and/or light source is needed, the removable protective cover member can be removed from the base, eliminating the need to remove the in-pavement light fixture from its mounting in the pavement.

  • Patent number: 8511858
Abstract: Described in an example embodiment is an airfield light where the optical system can be easily removed, e.g., no tools. This allows maintenance of the optical system to be performed elsewhere, reducing the amount of time that airfield maintenance crews have to be spend on the field.

  • Patent number: 7522601
Abstract: The present invention supports a filtered router flag value in an information packet for packet-based communication networks. The presence of the filtered router flag value identifies the information packet as possibly requiring a slow-path routing technique. The flag value could also identify the router type or conditions that actually require slow-path routing techniques. A router identifying the filtered router flag value will forward the information packet to the signal processor for slow-path processing. A router not finding the filtered router flag value will forward the information packet directly on the appropriate output for transmission onto the network.

  • Publication number: 20070121329
Abstract: A runway, taxiway or obstruction lighting system having at least one side emitting LED mounted on a base. A cover is optically coupled to the side emitting LED to direct light at a desired angle from a horizontal plane extending from the base. The cover is manufactured to have the highest transmissivity when used with a monochromatic LED light source. The color of the material is tuned to the wavelength of the LED light source to obtain the maximum light output. A heater circuit is included in the lighting system wired in series with the side emitting LED. A constant current source is employed to supply power to the side emitting LED and heater circuit so that operation of the heater circuit does not affect the intensity of the light from the side emitting LED.

  • Patent number: 7192155
Abstract: A runway, taxiway or obstruction fighting system having at least one side emitting LED mounted on a base. A cover is optically coupled to the side emitting LED to direct fight at a desired angle from a horizontal plane extending from the base.

  • Patent number: 6915325
Abstract: Location update messages for a mobile node can be made interceptible by routers which form tunnels for communication with the mobile node. A correspondent agent intercepts a Binding Update with a Router Alert and binds the address of the mobile node with a care of address for the mobile node provided in the Binding Update. The correspondent agent will thereafter intercept messages from its correspondent host destined for the mobile node and redirect them to the care of address thereby bypassing the home agent of the mobile node. A border router intercepts a Registration Request with Router Alert and binds the address of the mobile node with a care of address for the mobile node. If a binding existed previously, then the border router terminates the Request. Otherwise, the Request is forwarded to the home agent of the mobile node after substituting its own address for the care of address.
