  • Patent number: 9573325
Abstract: A mold shell for forming a wind turbine blade (20) comprises at least two mold shell sections (401, 402) each having a mold surface with a recessed portion (419, 420) adjoining the connecting edges (407, 408) between the mold shell sections. A bridging sheet (421) is accommodated in the recessed portions (419, 420) of the mold shell sections (401, 402). The bridging sheet (421) fills up the recessed portions.

  • Publication number: 20170013376
Abstract: The present invention extends to methods, systems, and computer program products for managing audio output through an intermediary. In some embodiments, an audio controller emulates a direct connection between an audio source device and an audio output device. In other embodiments, audio content local to an audio controller is combined with other audio content passing through the audio controller on its way from an audio source device to an audio output device. In additional embodiments, an audio output device is locked to an audio controller. The lock survives power cycling and soft resets of the audio output device. A special hard reset can be used to release the audio output device.

  • Publication number: 20160186304
Abstract: A method for increasing the strength of metals or metal components includes selecting a wrought metal or powder metal sample having a mass equal to or greater than a final mass of a component to be formed. If the sample is wrought metal, it is placed in a die cavity and subjected to high velocity adiabatic impact that forms a component having greater mechanical strength than the original wrought metal sample. If the sample is powder metal, it is placed in a die cavity and subjected to high velocity adiabatic impact to form a green preform that is sintered in a substantially oxygen free environment to form a sintered preform. The sintered preform has greater mechanical strength than a conventional wrought metal sample of the same material. The sintered preform may be optionally placed in a final die cavity and subjected to high velocity adiabatic impact to form a component.

  • Patent number: 9154397
Abstract: Provided are methods and computer program products for analyzing transactions across a network and to help identify network performance issues. Methods for analyzing traffic include identifying an outbound transaction and a related transaction type, and identifying candidate inbound transactions that have the same transaction type as the transaction type of the outbound transaction. One or more transaction data parameters may be selected that correspond to the outbound or inbound transactions. Candidate transactions may be determined to be related to the outbound transaction based on one or more transaction data parameters.

  • Patent number: 8737770
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes obtaining a target template and processing the target template to identify at least one component of the target template. The method also includes searching at least one collection of content to identify at least a first instance of content that substantially matches the component of the target template. The first instance of content is presented as substantially matching the component. Finally, a first arrangement that includes the first instance of content is created. Such a first arrangement is associated with a mash-up related to the target template.

  • Patent number: 8474934
Abstract: A method for improving gloss of a print includes configuring a printing system to deposit ink drops from a plurality of inks in an ink set onto a print surface. During the depositing, the printing system is further configured to control micro-coalescence of the ink drops. The micro-coalescence is controlled by i) depositing the ink drops onto the print surface according to a predefined order of color based upon solids content, ii) adjusting a number of printing passes, iii) adjusting a delay time between the printing passes, and/or iv) depositing different amounts of the ink drops onto the print surface during different printing passes.
