  • Patent number: 5032267
Abstract: In the filtering apparatus for an extrusion machine, a stream of heat-softened plastic material arrives via a flow conduit in a filter housing at an outlet, and thereby permeates replaceable filter means which are carried by a slide which is temporarily slid out of the stream of plastic material. For this, the slide comprises two chambers, forming flow conduit sections and arranged spaced in tandem in the direction of displacement, both of which are closed by filter plates. The slow conduit sections being, at a specified position of the slide in the filter housing internally in flow connection via, in each case, a port, with the outlet conduit in the filter housing and, externally via the filter plates, with the inlet conduit or with a backflow conduit in the filter housing.

  • Patent number: 4894001
Abstract: The apparatus for processing synthetic thermoplastic material includes a receiving container, containing a disintegrating and blending member, which is disposed near the bottom of the container and which rotates about the axis of the container and with which a screw extruder is in flow connection through an opening in the wall of the container. For a trouble-free, absolutely even and continuous charging of the screw extruder, irrespective of temperature and rotational speed, the arrangement is such that the cylinder, surrounding the extruder screw of the screw extruder, opens out with its front-end charging opening at least approximately tangentially in the inside wall of the receiving container.

  • Patent number: 4710967
Abstract: A container or bag or sack essentially comprises a tubular fabric, in particular a circular fabric of polyolefines, having a double wall formed by turning in or partially inverting the tubular fabric. In addition, a cut extending downwardly from the folded or turned in edge is provided in the double wall, and the folded or turned in edge thus cut open is gathered or tucked all the way around such that this gathered inner wall-sections of the double wall form a suspension or hanging loop. A suspension loop is thus formed in a relatively simple manner. Practically all the warp threads of the circular fabric unite in the suspension loop, imparting to the sack possessing a load-carrying strength at least equivalent to the tensile strength of the fabric. The lifting strength of the suspension loop is considerably increased by the gathering.
