Abstract: The present invention provides a dry method heavy medium separator adopting a dry method heavy medium separation bed and a separation device. According to the dry method heavy medium separator, a floating material end medium drum screen and a sediment end medium drum screen are arranged below a floating material discharge end and a sediment discharge end of the dry method heavy medium separator and used for separating products from media; a bag-type dust collector is used for collecting dust, a dust collector pipeline is arranged at the top of the dry method heavy medium separator, the air draft volume is larger than the air supply volume during working of the dry method heavy medium separator, the inside of the separator is in a negative pressure state, and therefore dust in the dry method heavy medium separator cannot escape; and the whole system is in a fully closed working state.

Abstract: An integrated drying and dry-separating apparatus for upgrading raw coal includes a coal supply system, a hot air system, a drying system, a dedusting and exhausting system, and a dry-separating system. The coal supply system conveys raw coal to the hot air system and the drying system by a raw coal conveyer respectively. The hot air system is a heat source of the drying system. The drying system is used for drying and dewatering the raw coal. The dedusting and exhausting system is consisted of a deduster and an exhaust fan, and establishes a connection between the drying system and the dry-separating system. The dry-separating system includes a dry separator, a circulating fan, and a cyclone deduster, which is used for separating dried raw coal into fancy coal, middling coal and coal gangue. A method for dry-separating and drying raw coal using the apparatus is also provided.

By reasonable setting of the angle of inclination, the material being separated spiral overturn continuously on the sorting bed under the influence of the rising air currents and the force of vibration, with the result that the light material in the upper layer is separated under the influence of weight. The material is sorted for many times during the circularly movements, the product with different content of ash can be obtained. This invention also relates to a combined dry sorting device that comprises frame, sorting bed, vibrator and air supply device.
