  • Patent number: 11902789
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for cloud controlled secure Bluetooth pairing for network device management. A method for a mobile device includes sending a Bluetooth pairing request to a network device that cannot connect to a network, wherein the network device responds to the Bluetooth pairing request by sending a challenge token; responsive to receiving the challenge token from the network device, sending the challenge token to a server, wherein the server responds to the challenge token by sending a response token, wherein the response token comprises a secure Bluetooth pairing key; and responsive to receiving the response token from the server, establishing a secure Bluetooth connection with the network device, comprising pairing with the network device using the secure pairing key.

  • Patent number: 11050644
Abstract: An example network orchestrator of a SD-WAN is configured to classify, based on operating health information, each branch gateway of a cluster in an operating health class of a set of operating health classes. A bucketmap is generated based on the classifications of each branch gateway of the cluster. The bucket map may be transmitted to a leader branch gateway of the cluster. Each branch gateway may be reclassified in an operating health class. An updated bucketmap may be transmitted to a leader branch gateway.

  • Patent number: 10673725
Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes requesting, using a branch controller, an operating status of at least one application of a first plurality of applications executing in a first core site using a first User Datagram Protocol (UDP) ping, the first UDP ping being transmitted to a first network controller included in the first core site through a first VPN connection between the branch controller and the first core site; and receiving, using the branch controller, the operating status of the at least one application of the first plurality of applications using the first UDP ping received through the first VPN connection.

  • Publication number: 20200076683
Abstract: A branch office controller (BoC) of a software-defined wide-area network (SDWAN) is configured to collect real-time network physical connection and connected device information and pass this information to the cloud platform server. This enables the cloud platform server to combine the information in a configuration template and other predetermined network device information with the real-time network physical connection and connected device information in order to generate provisioning information provided to the BoC to effectuate provisioning of network devices.

  • Patent number: 10368184
Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a method and a network device for advertising and profiling user location to unified communication suite in enterprise wireless environments. Specifically, a network device can determine a location of a first client device corresponding to a user. Based at least on the location of the first client device corresponding to the user, the network device can infer a status for the first user. Further, the network device can display, store and/or transmit the inferred status for the user on an enterprise wireless network. The status has not been explicitly indicated by the user.

  • Patent number: 10057875
Abstract: Example implementations relate to location-based network device operation. For example, a non-transitory machine-readable medium is described that stores instructions executable by a processor to cause the processor to provide network permissions to a network device joining a network; responsive to acceptance of the network permissions, propagate a location policy to the network device; and modify an operating mode of the network device based on the determined location and the location policy.

  • Publication number: 20180183806
Abstract: Example implementations may relate to a policy management system that may receive, from a scheduling application, a request to provision access for a guest. The policy management system may transmit a provisioning tool to the scheduling application, and the provisioning tool may be included in an electronic scheduling message. In response to execution of the provisioning tool, the policy management system may transmit configuration data to the device of the guest.
