    Abstract: 2-Thia-1,3,5-triaza-7-phosphaadamantane 2,2-dioxide was prepared. The phosphine was converted to the phosphine oxide derivative by reaction with hydrogen peroxide and the methyl phosphonium iodide derivative of the phosphene was prepared by reaction with methyl iodide.
