Abstract: A deck system method of installing the deck system. The deck system includes a wooden-deck assembly and a deck-cover assembly and a method installing the deck system with a stone or tile top surface. The deck-cover assembly is applied to the wooden-deck assembly or another existing deck assembly. The deck-cover assembly includes a waterproof membrane and a second deck-top having the stone material. The stone tiles are maintained at a consistent spacing through the use of permanent spacers when not adhered to the deck surface. The deck system provides a durable and water-resistant stone deck.
