    Abstract: The present invention provides a method of cultivating filter feeders such as Artemia by substituting special microorganisms for naturally occurring microscopic algae, and providing conditions optimal for the growth of these organisms. These subsituted special microorganisms provide an abundant food source for Artemia and subsequently the Artemia provide a food source for higher order members of the marine food chain.

    Abstract: Hybrid cell lines that synthesize and secrete monoclonal antibodies against epidermal growth factor receptor generated by the fusion of myeloma cells to lymphocytes immunized with epidermal growth factor receptor are disclosed. The method of generating the hybridomas, as well as therapeutic and diagnostic uses of the monoclonal antibodies in both cancer treatment and research are also disclosed.
