Abstract: A bowling ball gutter connector apparatus having supports and a splice to be mounted in an extruded, spanning manner beneath bowling ball gutter section joints such that fastening of the gutter sections leaves the upper rolling surface of the gutter unimpeded.

Abstract: A replacement seat and back is disclosed for installation onto an existing chair which includes a unitary molded construction with a seat supporting a substantially upright back joined by an integral curved portion. The back is provided with a hollow interior with a slotted entrance adjacent to the curved portion so as to insertably receive the back of the existing chair. The seat includes an edge marginal downwardly depending attachment flange constituting a snap-on attachment for securing the seat to the existing seat. Preferably, the contour, color and overall shape of the replacement seat and back conforms with the contour, color and overall shape of the existing chair.

Abstract: A method for resurfacing a bowling alley to fill dents and overlie the original wood surface with an oil barrier layer over which is adhesively affixed a high pressure laminate material layer with an external surface having the appearance of the original surface of the alley.

Abstract: A laminated pin deck construction and a method of installing the deck construction on an existing pin deck. A barrier layer of relatively hard material overlies a wooden base and is affixed by means of adhesive and screws. A high pressure laminate material having an external surface with the appearance of a conventional bowling alley surface is adhesively affixed to the barrier layer. Installation on existing pin decks includes sanding down the original wooden layer to receive the barrier layer and laminate layer.

Abstract: A bowling alley construction utilizing a high pressure laminate having a hard plastic melamine external surface which simulates the conventional wooden laminated bedstock alley construction. In the lane section of the alley, the laminate is adhesively bound to a fiberboard layer which is secured to the top of the alley underbed. In the approach section and pin deck section, the laminate is adhesively bonded to rigid barriers which are affixed to a wooden underbed by means of adhesive and screws.
