  • Patent number: 12006243
Abstract: A mixture including glass fragments is located in a containment vessel and is processed in a kiln to form a commercially useful building product. The mixture is initially heated over a first time period to a first temperature intermediate the glass transition point temperature and about 950° C. or 1,100° C. (Section A). At the first temperature the glass fragments slump and bond to each other and the mixture is soaked at this temperature for a second time period (Section B). After reducing the temperature (Section C), the mixture is annealed for another time period (Section D). Finally, the kiln is cooled to allow the mixture to be removed (Section E).

  • Patent number: 11941768
Abstract: Methods and systems for alignment of a subject for medical imaging are disclosed, and involve capturing an image of an anatomical region comprising a target tissue and determining, based on the image and based on a reference image, that a current alignment of the image capture device is aligned with a predefined alignment. The determination is performed before initiating capturing of a time series of fluorescence medical images from fluorescence emission. In response to the determining that the current alignment is aligned with the predefined alignment, capturing of the time series of fluorescence medical images from the fluorescence emission is initiated.

  • Publication number: 20230120009
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to cloud-based techniques that may be used to manage how digital content is arranged and distributed. For example, a non-transitory, computer-readable medium may include instructions that, when executed, are configured to cause processing circuitry to provide a cloud-based application that maintains an editable draft issue comprising a plurality of draft articles, generate a published issue that has a plurality of published articles corresponding to the plurality of draft articles based on the draft issue, and provide the published issue to one or more electronic devices.

  • Patent number: 11568607
Abstract: Methods and systems for alignment of a subject for medical imaging are disclosed, and involve providing a reference image of an anatomical region of the subject, the anatomical region comprising a target tissue, processing the reference image to generate an alignment reference image, displaying the alignment reference image concurrently with real-time video of the anatomical region, and aligning the real-time video with the alignment reference image to overlay the real-time video with the alignment reference image. Following such alignment, the subject may be imaged using, for example, fluorescence imaging, wherein the fluorescence imaging may be performed by an image acquisition assembly aligned in accordance with the alignment.

  • Patent number: 11485200
Abstract: A filtering vision element forming a windshield or rearview mirror of a road vehicle includes a lower region and an upper region. The filtering vision element is designed so that a difference in attenuation between two linear polarizations of an incident radiation has values that are of opposite signs in the lower and upper regions. The two linear polarizations may respectively be horizontal and contained in a vertical plane. Blinding of the driver caused by a spot of reflected light produced on a road by headlights of an external vehicle may thus be decreased or prevented.

  • Patent number: 11354015
Abstract: Adaptive user interfaces and techniques therefor are provided. In accordance with one example, a method includes, at an electronic device having a display: displaying a first user interface comprising a first affordance associated with a first function and a second affordance associated with a second function, and detecting a first event causing the device to transition from the first state to a second state, where the display is deactivated in the second state. The method also includes detecting, while the device is in the second state, a second event causing the device to transition from the second state to a third state, where the display is activated in the third state, and in response to detecting the second event, displaying a second user interface comprising the first affordance displayed in the second user interface at a second location different from the first location, and not comprising the second affordance.
