  • Publication number: 20240005151
Abstract: A method of predicting elasticity of a solid includes receiving a data set comprised of position data and corresponding strain data for points on a solid at a deep neural network (DNN), producing a predicted stress distribution, applying convolutional filters to the predicted stress distribution to produce residual force maps, and predicting an elasticity distribution of the solid by iteratively using the residual force maps and an equilibrium condition until the predicted elasticity distribution satisfies the equilibrium condition, producing the final elasticity distribution.

  • Publication number: 20220281177
Abstract: A method of additive manufacturing to perform three-dimensional printing, capturing images of printed material, using a convolutional neural network to determine a state of the printing, and autonomously adjusting the three-dimensional printing as needed based upon the state of the printing. A system to perform autonomous additive manufacturing has a three-dimensional printer having a source of material, a nozzle connected to the source of material, and a print bed, a camera, and at least one processing element to execute instruction that cause the processor to receive images from the camera.
