  • Patent number: 11017348
Abstract: Methods and systems for delivering a package to a customer employ an on-demand locker assembly having a plurality of lockers. A computer-implemented method of staging delivery of a package to a customer includes displaying a network link that is selectable by the customer on an electronic client device. In response to selection of the network link, the package is transferred to one of the lockers. An access code for the locker is sent to the electronic client device. Upon entry of the access code, the locker is opened to provide the customer with access to the package to retrieve the package from the locker.

  • Patent number: 10482420
Abstract: Methods and systems for delivering a package to a customer employ an on-demand locker assembly having a plurality of lockers into which a package is placed for retrieval by the customer. A computer-implemented method for delivering a package to a customer includes receiving the package into a facility. The customer is notified that the package has arrived at the facility. In response to receiving a check-in notification from the customer, the package is placed into a locker having a closed configuration that blocks access to the package by the customer. The customer is sent an access code for use by the customer in retrieving the package from the locker. Entry of the access code by the customer is received. In response to receipt of the entry of the access code, the locker is reconfigured so that the customer can retrieve the package from the locker.

  • Patent number: 10104992
Abstract: A tea maker comprises a vessel in which is located a conveyor. The conveyor, preferably vertically, transports a carriage. The conveyor and a carriage are surrounded by a tube and are protected from the water in the vessel. An enclosed basket is coupled to the carriage. An external user interface allows a user to select brewing parameters such as the type of beverage brewed, the brewing temperature, and the steeping time. The selection is sent to a processor. The processor then encodes the selection into a control data for the heating assembly or the conveyor.

  • Publication number: 20060241949
Abstract: An imaging system, including a visualisation module for generating image display data representing at least one three-dimensional object at the origin of a spatial coordinate system, the dimensions and colour of each object being determined on the basis of financial data for a corresponding financial product. The colour of each object represents a measure of risk for the corresponding financial product, which can include a stock or a managed fund. The dimensions of each object representing a stock correspond to price to earnings ratio, dividend yield, and growth in earnings per share for the corresponding stock. The dimensions of each object representing a fund correspond to measures of financial return over respective periods of time for the corresponding fund. However, a user of the system can associate different financial parameters or measures with the object dimensions and colour as desired.
