  • Publication number: 20160010434
Abstract: A subsea pumping assembly includes a flow line jumper connected between a well fluid source and a subsea flow line. A submersible pump assembly having a motor and pump os located in the flow line jumper. The pump has an intake in fluid communication with well fluid flowing into the flow line jumper. A bypass valve within the flow line jumper is coupled to a discharge of the pump. The bypass valve has a tubular housing, a bypass port extending through a wall of the housing, and a valve element upstream from the bypass port. The valve element is movable from a bypass position to a flow through position in response to discharge pressure of the pump. A spring biases the valve element toward the bypass position.
