Publication number: 20240135786Abstract: A valuable media sanitizing/cleansing cassette is provided for sanitizing/cleansing surfaces of valuable media dispensed to a consumer during a dispense transaction at a transaction terminal. Dispensed media is urged from one or more media cassettes within the terminal along a transport path. The transport path is altered to pass the media through the sanitizing/cleansing cassette where the top and bottom surfaces of the media are illuminated with Ultraviolet (UV) radiation to eradicate any bacteria or virus that may be adhered to the top or the bottom surfaces of the media. Once the media passes through the sanitizing/cleansing cassette, the now sanitized/cleansed media is urged along a remainder of the transport path and dispensed from a media interface of the terminal to the consumer. In an embodiment, media deposited at the terminal is also sanitized/cleansed by passing through the sanitizing/cleansing cassette before being stored in the appropriate media cassettes.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 27, 2023Publication date: April 25, 2024Inventors: Ian McFarlane Denny, Stephen Anderson, Grant A. Publication number: 20240078559Abstract: The template generation system receives interaction data stored by the CEC from an interaction database and customer service templates (if any) from a template database. The template generation system processes interaction data and customer service templates to learn the domain language of CSR responses and the template responses within the CEC. The template generation system encodes the learned language and generates sentence vector embeddings for the CSR responses and template responses. Based on the learned language, the encoding, and the sentence vector embeddings, the template generation system processes CSR responses derived from the interaction data and customer service templates to predict the need for new customer service templates. Based on the predicted need for new customer service templates, the template generation system provides customer service template suggestions and may also auto-generate suggested customer service templates.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 2, 2022Publication date: March 7, 2024Applicant: Verint Americas Inc.Inventor: Grant Anderson

Publication number: 20230230585Abstract: A system for generating wrap-up information is capable of learning how interactions are transformed into contact notes and outcome codes using natural language processing and can generate the contact notes and outcome codes for new incoming interactions by applying prediction models trained on interaction data, contact notes and outcome codes. The system for generating wrap-up information receives interaction data, including interaction audio data, interaction transcripts, associated contact notes and associated outcome codes. The interaction transcripts are generated from the previous interactions between agents and customers. The contact notes and outcome codes are generated by agents during the associated previous interactions. The system processes and uses the interaction data to train prediction models to analyze interaction audio data and interaction transcripts and predict appropriate contact notes and outcome codes for the interaction.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 13, 2023Publication date: July 20, 2023Applicant: Verint Americas Inc.Inventors: Grant Anderson, Scott Mackie, Neil Eades, Sean Robertson

Publication number: 20230169438Abstract: A system with access to regularly updated information regarding an entity can generate information regarding the performance of that entity. For example, values of various key performance indicators (KPIs) can be determined. One or more of the values can be compared to a corresponding threshold or range. Based on the results of the comparisons, an alert can be generated and sent to a user associated with the entity, a user interface (UI) that presents information to the user about the entity can include information regarding the KPIs, or both. The system may have access to data regarding a number of similar entities. Using the data for the similar entities, one or more benchmarks for the KPIs of the entity can be determined. The KPIs can be compared to the benchmarks and the results shown in a UI, an alert, or both.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 30, 2023Publication date: June 1, 2023Applicant: Xero LimitedInventors: Tim Mole, Grant Anderson

Publication number: 20220277228Abstract: An artificial intelligence (AI) application uses an external machine learning component from a different computing environment to develop context data for use by the AI application. The context data includes raw data outputs from the external machine learning component. An active machine learning component is executed with the context data and provides a suggested next step to a computer to implement as an automated output. A feedback loop adds the suggested next step from the active machine learning component to the context data and forms an augmented data set for providing context to the AI application. A context component selects a rule from a rules engine that corresponds to the augmented data set. The computer implements an automated output according to the rule that was selected.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 28, 2022Publication date: September 1, 2022Inventors: James Nies, Matthew Pyke, Paul Gorman, Ash Sood, Neil Eades, Grant Anderson, Alastair Grant

Patent number: 11238340Abstract: A system predicts future positions or vergence depth of the user's eyes and generates gaze contingent content, such as for a head-mounted display (HMD), based on the predicted positions or vergence depth. The system includes an eye tracking controller that creates eye tracking information defining positions of a first eye and a second eye of a user over time. The eye tracking information is input to a neural network model that outputs the predicted positions or vergence depth. The predicted positions or vergence depth is then used to render the gaze contingent content, or to change other configurations of the HMD. Latency between the detection of user eye movement and the output of corresponding content is reduced to provide a more immersive real-time user experience.Type: GrantFiled: November 2, 2017Date of Patent: February 1, 2022Assignee: Facebook Technologies, LLCInventors: Alexander Grant Anderson, Alexander Jobe Fix, Robert Dale Cavin

Patent number: 10594338Abstract: A compression system includes an encoder and a decoder. The encoder can be deployed by a sender system to encode a tensor for transmission to a receiver system, and the decoder can be deployed by the receiver system to decode and reconstruct the encoded tensor. The encoder receives a tensor for compression. The encoder also receives a quantization mask and probability data associated with the tensor. Each element of the tensor is quantized using an alphabet size allocated to that element by the quantization mask data. The encoder compresses the tensor by entropy coding each element using the probability data and alphabet size associated with the element. The decoder receives the quantization mask data, the probability data, and the compressed tensor data. The quantization mask and probabilities are used to entropy decode and subsequently reconstruct the tensor.Type: GrantFiled: March 18, 2019Date of Patent: March 17, 2020Assignee: WaveOne Inc.Inventors: Carissa Lew, Steven Branson, Oren Rippel, Sanjay Nair, Alexander Grant Anderson, Lubomir Bourdev
