  • Patent number: 11925435
Abstract: An intra-oral scanning device includes a light source and an optical system, and communicates with a display system. The device provides for more efficient transmission and capture of images. It integrates OCT scanning with RGB-based scanning. In operation, the device is used for recording topological characteristics of teeth, dental impressions, or stone models by digital methods and for use in CAD/CAM of dental restorative prosthetic devices. To that end, the RGB-based scan obtains surface data (e.g., a margin), while the OCT scan penetrates the surface. The two scanners operate from within the same physical housing and preferably at the same time such that only one scanning pass (to obtain all necessary data) is required. The 3D data obtained from the OCT scan is registered with the 3D data obtained from the RGB-based scan by virtue of being captured using a common return path.

  • Patent number: 10480294
Abstract: There is provided a method for effecting at least partial interference of a fluid passage extending between a casing, disposed within a wellbore that is penetrating a subterranean formation, and the subterranean formation. The method includes detecting the fluid passage, and effecting an operative displacement of a casing section of the casing such that at least partial interference of the fluid passage is effected.

  • Patent number: 8360751
Abstract: A pump has a pump barrel formed from a larger diameter section and a smaller diameter section. Each section has a biased piston moveable within the section and the pistons are connected together to form a variable volume chamber between the pistons. As the connected pistons move toward the larger diameter section, a volume of fluid is moved through an inlet valve into the variable volume chamber of increasing volume. When the pistons are moved toward the smaller diameter section, a differential volume of fluid is discharged from the variable volume chamber of decreasing volume through a discharge valve into a discharge conduit. The pistons are actuated to move within the pump barrel by application and release of pressure at a remote end of the discharge conduit.

  • Patent number: 4111262
Abstract: A tubular, flexible rubber-like junk boot is positioned on the lower end of a drill string, blade-type stabilizer to catch small but dense particles of debris which are not removed from the hole by the drilling fluid. The boot has means on its lower end for clamping the boot in place.
