Abstract: A system and method are disclosed in which a user engaging in an online or in-person transaction with a merchant may create automatic expiring transactions for a credit card. The user provides the credit card information to an online interface or a point-of-sale device but specifies an expiration date that is on or before the actual expiration date of the credit card, known as an artificial expiration date. A token for the merchant is generated with the artificial expiration date. The issuing bank will honor the transaction with the artificial expiration date using the merchant-specific token, and the token may continue to be used with the online merchant until the artificial expiration date.

A blockchain can store searchable transactions related to content stored within the mesh network. The established node can search the blockchain to locate content and can transmit a request for certain content. The established node may issue a payment to a node hosting the requested content and/or to any intermediate nodes facilitating the established node's access to the content.

Abstract: Various embodiments are generally directed to techniques for creating and utilizing multidimensional embedding spaces for data objects, such as to condition the data for input to a neural network, for instance. Some embodiments are particularly directed to converting semi-structured data, such as a set of data objects, into object vector sets mapped to a multidimensional embedding space. In many embodiments, an embedding space for a set of data objects may be customized with a set of dimensions that correspond to various characteristics of the set of data objects. A server can transmit one or more encryption mechanisms to a user device, which in turn can transmit the encrypted mechanisms to one or more secondary devices associated with the user device, where the user device and the secondary devices share a local connection. The secondary devices can transmit the one or more encrypted mechanism utilizing one or more one or more decryption mechanisms supplied by the server, and then transmit the result of the decryption, e.g. decrypted codes, back to the user device, which in turn can then transmit a final decrypted code or codes to the server. Upon confirming receipt of the decryption from the user device, the server can authorize access (via the user device) to one or more devices, networks, applications, and/or components.

Abstract: Techniques and apparatus for providing payment-based transmission processes are described. In one embodiment, for example, a network node may include a storage device, and logic, at least a portion of the logic implemented in circuitry coupled to the storage device. The logic may operate to provide a routing query to transmit information over a network, the routing query comprising at least one destination node for the information and a transmission value, receive at least one bid from at least one bidding node in response to the routing query, determine a path through the network to transmit the information anonymously based on the at least one bid that corresponds to the transmission value, and transmit the information at least partially anonymously via the path within a network packet encrypted in a number of layers of encryption corresponding to a number of intermediary nodes in the path. Abstract: In the disclosed transaction processing system, members of an authorized network of consumers and merchants manage account information using blockchain ledgers. Because both consumers and merchants maintain copies of the blockchain, for any consumer/merchant transaction, both entities can quickly validate the transaction because both are aware, via their blockchain entries, of the current status of the account sourcing the transaction, allowing fast and accurate transaction validation without the need to incur the processing charges inherent in traditional fiat currency credit transactions.

Abstract: Techniques to improve fraud detection for financial institutions maintaining a network of financial terminals. These techniques are applicable towards identifying instances of multiple account usage with at least one of the financial terminals. Example financial terminals known as Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) capture image data whenever a visitor initiates a financial service (and/or receives something of value) and leverage the techniques described herein to determine whether the visitor is engaged in multiple account usage. Such multiple account usage may occur when the visitor withdraws cash against two different accounts. These techniques are further applicable towards securing the two different accounts from misappropriation.
