Abstract: Access to program code maintained by a first online service is provided to a user device. Access to the program code is provided to a second online service via a network, and information concerning a function performed by the second online service with respect to the program code is provided to the user device. In one embodiment, a selection of the second online service is received from the user device, and access to the program code is provided to the second online service in response to the selection. The function performed by the second online service may comprise a function not provided by the first online service.

Abstract: A method of dimming a plurality of LEDs includes generating a first pulse-width modulated (PWM) waveform and generating a plurality of second PWM waveforms, each of the PWM waveforms having a duty cycle. The duty cycle of the first PWM waveform and the duty cycle of each of the second PWM waveforms begin at approximately the same time. The periods of each of the second PWM waveforms end before the end of the first PWM duty cycle. In the method, and in disclosed circuits and devices, a first switch is closed in response to the duty cycle of the first PWM waveform, and each of a plurality of second switches connected between the first switch and a corresponding plurality of LEDs is closed in response to the respective duty cycles of each second PWM waveform, so that each LED connected between each second switch and a power source is energized when the first switch and the corresponding second switch are closed and not energized when either the first switch or the corresponding second switch is open.

Abstract: A process for performing a home evaluation and appraisal for a subject property is described. A home inspector performs a traditional home inspection with respect to the property, and also performs an evaluation of subjective criteria related to the property. The home inspector transmits this information to a separate appraiser. The appraiser performs an appraisal of the house using an automated valuation model (AVM) based upon publicly available information. The appraiser then adjust the appraisal generated by the AVM using the information obtained by the inspector. As an additional aspect of the invention, insurance may be offered such that a party buying the property based upon the adjusted appraised value is insured in the event such party is unable to resell the property for an amount equal to the adjusted appraised value within a prereselected amount of time. The invention has particular applicability in the field of an employer home buyout for a relocated employee.
