  • Publication number: 20160378102
Abstract: A method for assembling, integrating and utilizing common network elements including routers, modems, computers and software routines for maintaining and manipulating operating functions of remotely deployable controller systems, sensors, values, relays and other electro-mechanical devices to function as an inverse proactive status monitor and management system with reporting and remote access functions in a multi-tenant operating environment.

  • Publication number: 20070162302
Abstract: Medical note-taking software is used by healthcare professionals to author notes to be used by the software in generating medical documents. The present invention adds cosign functionality. Each healthcare professional user of the software is assigned a level of authority over notes which can be used by the software application for generating medical documents, such as prescriptions, bills, and the like. If the author of a note does not have final signatory authority, before the note is treated as final by the software application, a user with final signatory authority is required to cosign the note.

  • Publication number: 20070033575
Abstract: An object-based computer software application for generating medical documents includes the use of metadata objects to represent user-interface components and medical objects based on the metadata objects. In addition, patient data objects are generated from medical objects as selected by a user. The metadata objects, medical objects and patient data objects are stored in and retrieved from a relational database. The application also makes use of a table structure of each of the three object components. The table structure includes a first table in which is stored the object and a second table in which is stored a plurality of properties associated with the object. Means is provided for linking a metadata object to one or more other objects creating linked objects such that the linked objects are launched automatically upon launch of the metadata object.

  • Publication number: 20040221753
Abstract: An illuminated display device for displaying an image of a predetermined shape and size is described. An image is placed on an insert of a predetermined size comprised of a medium which has at least some partially transparent or translucent areas. The image-bearing insert is retained by the display device in front of an all-white portion contained upon a generally clear background-bearing medium. The all-white portion has generally the same shape and size as the image-bearing insert. The generally clear medium is at least partially contained in a base also having an illumination source. When on, the illumination source emits light into the generally clear medium which propagates until at least part thereof is diffused by the all-white portion into the image-bearing insert, creating the appearance of highlighting to a viewer. The frame is optionally elevated from the base, giving the display device the appearance of a clear boarder around the frame.
