Abstract: A screw-based dispenser for the application of cosmetic products and other applicable gels, liquids, and solids. The screw-based dispenser may have one or more of the following features: a cylindrical outer casing having at least two diametrically opposed feedback struts, a threaded screw connected to a base that is rotatable relative to the cylindrical outer casing, an elevator retention mechanism, a movable elevator operably engaged with the threaded screw within the cylindrical outer casing, and an elevator locking mechanism providing resistance to spontaneous axial movement of the elevator toward an end of the threaded screw opposite the rotatable base.

Abstract: A cap for a bottle having a safety seal over its mouth, the cap provided with one or more integral seal-cutting fins to facilitate removal of the safety seal. The cap further includes mouth alignment ribs and may include one or more depressor fins. The cap may have an inner stage and an outer stage. When inverted, the cap may be positioned on the lip of the mouth of a heat induction sealed bottle. Upon application of downward force and rotation of the cap, the seal-cutting fins score or cut the safety seal to facilitate removal of the seal. The depressor fin(s) prevents the entire circumference of the seal from being scored or cut, and therefore reduces the risk that the seal will fall into the bottle during removal of the seal.

Abstract: A lid assembly for a container that effectively seals the contents of the container from the environment and the environment from the contents. The lid assembly includes an upper sealing portion and a lower base portion that are mated together coaxially. Once mated together and secured to the container, the upper portion may be rotated relative to the lower portion to expose the contents of the container through the alignment of dispensing openings in each of the upper and lower portions. During rotation of the sealing portion from a closed position to an open position, the sealing portion is elevated relative to the base portion to form a separation between the sealing portion and the base portion while concurrently aligning the dispensing openings to permit withdrawal of the contents of the container. Upon release of the opening force, the sealing portion retreats away from the elevated position towards the base portion while simultaneously covering and sealing the dispensing opening in the base portion.
