    Abstract: A shutter control apparatus is disclosed for providing an auxiliary power source to drive a shutter motor. A double-pole, double-throw switch selectively connects an electric shutter motor to a primary electrical source of power or, when the primary source of power is interrupted, is switched to connect a self contained auxiliary power source to the shutter motor so as to permit extension and retraction of the shutter door.
