  • Patent number: 8794599
Abstract: There is disclosed a non-electric portable manually operated misting fan assembly which is formed by a handle for allowing the user to grasp and manipulate the fan assembly, the handle formed by a container adapted to function as a reservoir for a supply of fluid and having an upper end which includes a pump assembly including a pump head extending upwardly therefrom for pumping fluid from the handle container through a fluid nozzle located in the pump head. The fan means are fixedly mounted on the handle and positioned above the pump head, the fan means bounded by an upper end and a lower end, the lower end being accurately formed over the pump head in order to allow the user to position his finger on the pump head to manipulate the pump in order to eject a fluid from the fluid reservoir incident to the fanning procedure.

  • Patent number: 8782038
Abstract: The field of the invention relates to systems and methods for operation of a matching service, and more particularly to systems and methods that enable online compatibility matching and ranking. In a preferred embodiment, the system includes a matching system server coupled to a public network and accessible to one or more users. The matching system server includes a database that stores match profile data associated with the one more users, wherein the match profile data includes self-identified preferences. The matching server system is configured to correlate a first user's match profile data with one or more of the plurality of users' match profile data to identify a set of potential matches for the first user based on a relaxed set of self-identified preferences and calculate a compatibility value for each match in the set of potential matches.

  • Publication number: 20040160012
Abstract: There is disclosed a water target sport amusement device. The device consists of a target supported by an upright, the target being pivotally mounted relative to a support housing. The opposed players are positioned on either side of the target and throw projectiles at the target. The support housing contains a pair of angularly disposed opposed nozzles which are connected to a water source. The support housing also includes spray nozzle occluding means which alternate between an open and closed position relative to each spray nozzle. The movement of the occluding means corresponds to the movement of the target which is struck by a projectile. The target includes a control bar which moves the occluding means to alternate between open and close positions. If a player is successful in striking the target, the target pivots, opens the spray nozzle and sprays the opposing player.
